    Eddie Hearn's New Matchroom Stable

I'm not sure if a lot of the American guys follow ifl on YouTube but I remember watching an interview with Eddie Hearn that he was trying to shut his gob on big news in 2 weeks time - this was in reference to Matchroom USA and Jacobs. He mentioned that his American Outfit is going places but he can't say anything yet.

I wonder who he signed up this time?

I bet you it's someone like the Charlo Brothers.

One thing you'll learn about hearn is this. His idea of hype and big announcement. Is disproportionate to the actual levels of hype. He's a promotor if a dog done a **** outside his office he'd make it seem like a velociraptor hatched "right in front of me" done a turd and ran off when he confronted it. Dinosaurs are long extinct but not according to hearn.

      I'll take that bet.

If he had the Charlos, he wouldn't be using Charlo's name to try to prop up Jacobs' failing career right now. He'd want the Charlos to be as big of a surprise as possible in two weeks.

Was it? he never gave any details, and the rumour I heard is that it's a broadcasting deal or streaming service.

He's been seen at Mar-a-Lago in the company of the President. Rumour has it that he's bought the entire country, soon to be rebranded the United States of Matchroom. Citizens will become employees, entitled to 30% off compulsory matchroom ppv packages. Mt Rushmore is to be replaced with 4 Hearn's in various poses and the statue of liberty is to be remodelled to look like Katie Taylor.

I keep seeing these threads boasting about how Hearn is about to change the landscape. I haven't seen one damn thing that came close to living up to the hype since AJ fought Wlad. That was the last one. Supposedly, a major American talent was going to be signed a month ago. A deal that was going to "change boxing forever" was going to be announced 2 weeks ago. And, last week there was supposed to be a big signing, again...

If it were any other promoter, we could all have a laugh tougher. But, half this forum actually believes Hearn is some form of news outlet.

It's a joke mate ain't it. If hearn didn't have Ajs popularity he'd be stuck with Bellew & crolla fighters like that competing against Warren n hennesy, mcguigans etc.

Hearn is a puppet who has capitilised on the social media generation not looking any further then there own noses. Half the people blindly following his bull**** are the same casuals paying extortionate amounts for his mismatchroom shows off of stubhub.

Without his father's money he wouldn't of scratched the surface in the game. The only thing I will give him is persistence. But it's not all productive it's the Eddie Hearn show always has been guys on a ego trip probably loves people coming up to him. "I was at you're show other week Mr Ed great job mate"

Network or streaming service is my bet.
Probably propped up by alot of cash if that's the case.

Maybe he'll go the haymon route in his own way... Take the funds and use it to buy fighters and pay them disproportionate amounts to fight absolute ****.

Then it'll fail...and Hearn will have to go back to peddling darts and snooker

I wouldn’t doubt him getting the Charlo’s eventually.

The consensus, whether true or false, is that Haymon’s boxers need a promoter. And he has allowed his fighters to sign with promoters even when he doesn’t think it’s a good idea.

So I could see him allowing that to happen with the Charlo’s. That would be a way for him to make inroads at HBO and still maneuver between networks.

He still got one week left for his big, historic deal announcement lol.

And do you have a source for the major american signing? Havent found anything other than a thread at boxingscene with no source.
