Comments Thread For: Jacobs to Jermall Charlo: Come See Me; I'm the King of Brooklyn!

NEW YORK Daniel Jacobs made it clear early Sunday morning that fighting Gennady Golovkin again is his top priority. It's highly unlikely Brooklyn's Jacobs will be able to land that rematch next, however, which could leave Jacobs looking for another opponent in the third fight of his exclusive HBO deal. Jacobs told HBO's Max Kellerman in the ring following his win against Maciej Sulecki that he's more than willing to make Jermall Charlo that opponent.

I can see why Jacobs is calling Charlo out. Charlo is #1 and in line with the Canelo/GGG winner. Why would he give up his spot for Jacobs?

After that performance I give the edge to Charlo. I don't think he can handle Charlo's power.

If the IBF strips GGG, as they should, Charlo should go fight for the title first. If he can't get a title fight, then Jacobs should be the target! Derevyanchenko in Houston for the title, or Jacobs in Brooklyn!

... the Canelo/GGG "winner" may very well fight Saunders (for unification)...

Charlo would KO/TKO him, and the book would close on Jacobs's career.

I don’t think he’d be giving up anything. I pick Charlo to win. I was very surprised by how small Danny looked last night. I really viewed him as a larger middleweight than that.

Good fight but Charlo is really in his prime and very strong. This would be a good money fight so a no brained for Charlo to put his belt up for This fight.
