1) I have said many times, even in a previous post in this thread I believe, that I would like to see Charlo in vs GGG. I think Charlo is ready for the top level and we will then see what he has. I would give him a puncher's chance against GGG or any of the other top guys but I don't think he is on the same level boxing wise as GGG Canelo Jacobs or BJS.

3) Vanes at 160 is arguably a better win than Trout at 154. Let that sink in. This fight that you are crucifying GGG for, that would be GGG's about 10th-15th best win, would be Jermall's best win....and would be better than Jermell's best win...(Vanes at 160 vs 154). Does that hurt. Lol.

We just honestly don't really know Charlo's level yet my friend. He has been in with one known guy - Trout. And a few decent guys. But he has never faced a big puncher. I honestly don't know how he would react to facing a guy like Canelo or Jacobs, let alone GGG. Based on when GGG fought these guys, it is still unknown how Charlo would do against:

1) Canelo - 2
2) Jacobs - 2
3) Brook - 50/50
4) Murray - 2
5) Lemeiux - 50/50
6) Monroe - 50/50
7) Rubio - 50/50
8) Geale - 50/50
9) Stevens - 50/50
10) Macklin - 50/50
11) Rosado - 1
12) Prosksa - 50/50
13) Ouma - 50/50

(1 being favorite; 2 being underdog; 50/50 toss up). Again, the only known guy that he beat was Austin Trout. Who is a good fighter, but it was a very close fight. No KO or KDs. Trout is basically on the same level at 154, as those 50/50 guys are at 160. B level type guys (at the time of fight; and Brook is A level but with the weight issue I put him at 50/50).

As for Vanes, it's just a stay busy fight. GGG just fought Jacobs and Canelo, and was about to fight Canelo again until he got popped for PEDs. He should be able to take a stay busy fight and stay active, knowing his next fight is against a top guy again. I have no problem with it. Would rather see a top contender in there but we will get that soon I'm sure.

And I understand you can't relate to GGG so you don't like him, and you really want someone you can relate to to beat GGG. I just don't really think Charlo is that guy to be pinning all your hopes on. Like you said, I would love to see Charlo in against a guy like Monroe or Lemeiux (only two 50/50 guys on GGG's resume who are still basically the same as they were). That would tell us a lot more about where he is. If he can knock out Monroe or Lemeiux I would basically favor Charlo over the other 50/50 guys on that list.

Ideally we will see him in against BJS Canelo GGG or Jacobs in his next couple fights. That will be the real test for him. You seem to think he will pass it. I think all those guys beat him. And I think Lemeiux and Monroe are 50/50 fights at this point until I see otherwise honestly. Lemeiux knocked out Stevens in 3 rounds; much more impressive than Centeno in 2.

GGG has a great resume actually. A lot of good/great fighters on that list and he smashed almost all of them, as the away fighter. Just when he smashes someone some people don't give him any credit. He could literally go knock out Wilder at heavyweight and people would then just say Wilder ****** and was a bum.

Yeah as I said, I hope we see that fight soon. Either way we should be getting some good fights at 160 soon, and Charlo has to be in some of them, so we will see his level then.

Truth remains though that Trout is his only real win, and he went 12 hard close rounds with him. Trout at 154 is equivalent to Brook, Lemieux, Monroe, Rubio, Geale, Stevens, Macklin, Rosado, Proska, Ouma (based on when they fought GGG and when Trout fought Charlo).

How can you be a hype job btw when you are such a dominant amateur? And who is more likely to be hyped up - some random guy from Kazakhstan or some guy from the US? It's obvious it's the US guy.

I like Charlo but he has literally done nothing to prove he is on the top level yet, besides the 'eye test' for some people. He can't fight GGG until at least a few fights from now, so you are wasting your energy pushing so hard for that fight right now.

If both guys handle business in their next 2-3 fights we should get Charlo-GGG in late 2019.

I will ask this though - when Charlo has his step up fight and looks average - how fast will you drop him and find someone else?

You don't like how GGG looks, so you give him no credit, when he objectively deserves it.

You like how Charlo looks, so you hype him up, when he hasn't done 1/10th of what GGG has in his overall boxing career.
