How does any of that have to do with the article. We get a chance to actually see instead of hearing what's going on and this is your response. You blind worshippers of men never cease to amaze

Wilder's team need not sit down with anyone if there is no starting point on basic terms, just as a mortgage lender isn't going to take the time to write up a contract if we haven't agreed to basic terms. Do you think lenders write up full contracts and present them to random people in hopes that they want to buy a house or car? No, they do not. They talk with a buyer whose interested, come up with basic terms such as price, interest rate, have the buyer sign it, then they draw up the contract and supporting docs. If the buyer doesn't like some aspect of the contract, he can negotiate or back out. I've bought two houses and several cars in my life. I don't see what is unreasonable here.
Basics of modern life. Something a lot of morons that keep repeating fast Eddie "send contract first" here have no clue about.

Sure, I'd be very happy to explain. Jay Deas discovered Deontay, trained him from scratch, brought him along from nothing, and so as a token of Deontay's gratitude, Jay was given the title of "co-manager" when Deontay went pro as a thank you for everything Jay did getting Deontay from absolutely nothing to an Olympic medalist.

Wilder's real manager was Shelly Finkel, the most successful manager in the history of heavyweight boxing. Managed Tyson, Holyfield, both Klitschkos, etc. Finkel eventually got hired to work for a music promotional company that had plans to dabble in boxing as well, so due to the Ali act, he had to divest himself of his managerial deals, and he brought his fighters to Al Haymon, a longtime friend that Finkel knew from both of their days working in the concert business.

The Ali act doesn't apply to Europe, which is why Finkel was still able to manage the Klitschko brothers.

The company that hired Finkel went out of business and Finkel returned, on a limited basis, to managing fighters again. That is why Deontay had "three managers." Which really, is just a trainer (Deas), a manager (Finkel) and an adviser (Haymon).

Finkel nailed hearn to a wall there. They are not acting any different to how hearn conducts himself. He's been doing this a lot lot longer than hearn

I fail to make sense of any of this besides that this is a stunt.
He has had 40 fights he is an American heavyweight champ and still hardly any yanks have heard of him and the reason is he is an overprotected Hype job, people like fighters who have ambition and say what you want about aj and Hearn but they are going after titles consistently. Wilder could have fought Parker and strengthened his hand but Parker isn't a bum so that was never happening.
