Al Haymon is Harvard educated. Both he in Shelly Finkel have been in boxing for years. Anyone who thinks either of them are ****** enough to offer a $50M contract that they had any chance to default on is a moron. There is no reason to send a contract if you haven't agreed on any of detail. The financial split has to be agreed on. Once the split is agreed on they complete all other aspects of the negotiation (marketing, venue, glove size etc) and then a contract is written up and signed. I know we love our boxers as fans but you have to use some logic here. I don't think Anthony Joshua is afraid at all. I would bet my pay check he wants that $50M and Wilder wants the fight to. The issue here is Eddie Hearn, period! He wants to make some money off of Wilder first. He wanted to sign him and when that didn't work he tried the Dillan Whyte crap. This guy is who boxing fans should be angry at because he's holding up the biggest fight in boxing.

Comments Thread For: Wilder Manager To Hearn: Accept and We'll Send Proof, Contract

It was a simple question posed by Eddie Hearn.
First, provide proof of funds and a contract can be sought following all the add ons.
That email does not provide the proof of funds does it?
They got no intention of giving Tony Joshua that amount without taking something in return.
They will make impossible demands and Eddie will walk away but they will just say “it’s not us, we offered the money”.
Eddie will have already seen ahead of this.
All pie until proof of funds is provided better still, why don’t Finkel show US the offer, contract, attachments etc and we can see who’s avoiding who.
Tony Joshua will want the top belt but won’t be suckered into the challenge.

At some point, Eddie is going to start taking heat from AJ...he is literally costing him the payday of a lifetime with all this BS.
Then again, AJ has been silent, hasn't said sh/t.
Both these clowns are ducking, and as a result, AJ's claim to the throne will be tainted moving forward, there is no ducking this fight if you claim to be the best in the world.
It makes me sick watching all these trolls on here, who actually dont understand how a fight is made, Hearn telling everyone "we dont have a contract", "we doubt the money is real" is a distraction aimed at people who don't understand the sport, and I watched thousands of suckers go for it hook line and sinker.

Surely it would be a good idea to have a meeting about the fight whilst Hearn in America instead of chatting s**te
I thought parkers manager Higgins was a clown but wilders three are a sham
Organise a meeting - show you have the coin for the fight - sign the fight Jesus wept

Joshua IS the draw hence why the 12.5 million was a SIMPLE deal , a deal that would have made Wilder between 20/35 million but they want to pay Joshua more now ?
Hearn cannot accept a 50 Million stipulation without seeing whats what .
Finkel KNOWS even if Hearn agrees he can still put a deal breaker in the contract and say Hearn didn't want the fight .
IF Hearn says yes ,whats to stop Finkel from adding anything he wants attached to it and having Hearn commit to what is a farce of a deal ? Its purpose is to gain leverage for Wilder .
Just bc he can show backers means nothing ....if Finkel didnt include paper work then theres a reason why and thats bc this is a stalling tactic to blame Joshua and use his mandatory deadline against him as a reason to fight Breazeale.
This is nothing but a ploy either way to actually create the real smoke screen which is Breazeale is fighting Wilder no matter what .

SMDH...a bunch of egos getting in the way of this fight...Hearn is refusing to at least agree-in-principle...and Shirley is cancelling meetings whenever he's confronted on his BS.
Replace Shirley with Haymon and Eddie with Barry please...

Wilders team consists of the most powerful businessmen in the sport
They have put on the biggest financial fights for the past 20-30 years , they hold more overall power then anybody in the sport
They have a track record to show they know how this business works
You comparing them to Parker’s team shows your biased and will believe whatever Hearn says and just nod your head like a mindless ******

It seems obvious to me what's gong on here. Team Wilder has managed to somehow get together enough funds to give AJ the $50m he requested. They want Hearn to accept the $50m publicly, so he won't attempt to try to get a bigger piece of the pie once he sees exactly how much is on the table.
Hearn would be wise not to accept off the bat, and Finkel would be wise not to disclose all the details before an accepted offer.
The problem here is AJ publicly stated that he'd take $50m in a heartbeat, tying Hearn's hands, making Team Joshua out to be the side preventing the fight from happening.
