The reason Keith Thurman dropped the WBC is because he wants Pacquiao next

Keith held onto that WBA super title, because his mando is the winner of .pacquiao Matthysse regular wba belt fight, he is obviously hoping Pacquiao wins, and he lands a big money match with him in the states since pacman is no longer promoted by arum

If mattysse wins thurman is screwed because goldenboy will not do business with haymon.

So thurman is taking a leap of faith here hoping pacman pulls off the upset.

Pacquiao might not be the same draw he was years ago but if matched with thurman and heavily promoted. The fight will do at least 800k buys. He is still the biggest name in the division.

Pacman is the biggest name and the easiest fight to win for thurman, pac is the weakest guy at 147, he might not even survive matthysse at this point in his career. Skeete even said it he wants pacquiao because he is the biggest draw in the division left and he is the easiest to beat

Boxrec says that Jeff "The Hornet" Horn is the biggest name in the division, and people here on NSB say he's the weakest in the division, so I still struggle to understand why even Keith "One Time A Year" Thurman is ducking The Hornet.

No he dropped it so that he is able to win it back again, giving him a reason to duck Spence again

I wanted for Mayweather to face Keith instead of Berto. I could probably respect that more than luring up Lomachenko.

Giant flaw in your theory. The WBA world champion isn't automatically the mandatory to the WBA super champion anymore. That rule was changed years ago.

You just live to trash Pacquiao. You don't know Thurman's reasons. You are just guessing. Pacquiao beat the hell out of your beloved Horn and got robbed. Crawford will finish Horn off for good. Pacquiao is well past prime but he has enough left to beat Lucas and give Thurman a hard fight if they fight. Just ask Vargas.
