im british , hearn did the same **** with frampton for years when he had quigg , even had a 3 metre check printed for 1.5 mil , now thats a pr stunt ... for all the talk of hearn being the next era of promoting ... bar joshua who as an olympic gold heavyweight winner who needing no exposure or marketing , all hearns stars were stolen from other promoters ... brook , bellew , cleverly , selby , degale , groves , mitchell etc were all frank warren fighters , barker , froch , fury , were hennesy guys , what happened sky sports always had various promoters doing shows , this changed and they went exclusive with 1 , forcing warren to make his own tv station with 500 subscribers , and hennessy , hatton , frank maloney , hobson etc were all in limbo with no tv channels airing boxing bar sky , who went exclusive with hearn , basically meaning no tv for fighters unless they went to matchroom . stinks of a monopoly and as much as i hate warren for the shady tactics he employs , now hes backed by bt sport and not independent backers , he now has a chance to compete in the uk . Barry hearn left the sport in an utter shambles in the mid 90s when all his stars ie eubank benn etc got old and left , he literally turned the sport into a non entity , on a level with sports like fencing LOL and whole generation of british talent barely saw the light of day , sooner young edward gets toppled the better , o hara davies has recently gone public with various thins hearn encouraged , and then dropped like a bad habit ...Time is the best judge
