[QUOTE=Robbie Barrett;18716749]OMFG. You are obviously ******. If the event doesn't make as much as planned the companies won't have the money to pay the gyarantee will they?[/QUOTE. Then the money would come from the financial backers of team wilder wether it’s Haymon, Finkel, Showtime etc . But certainly this fight will generate at least 50 million don’t you think ? I mean just look at all the post every time these 2 names are mentioned.

It's very clear to me that many of you don't know how boxing negotiations work, neither do most of you understand how promoters and managers work on a fundamental level. If you knew what a boxing promoter really was, you'd understand why Hearn is extremely reluctant to except a $50 million guarantee for AJ vs Wilder.
"The manager's job is to look out for the interests of the boxer. The promoter's job is to look out for the interests of the promoter."
"...the less money a boxer makes for fighting, the more money the promoter gets paid for promoting the fight."
There in lies the dilemma. Finkel and Haymon are Wilders managers, As such they have no problem finding investors and taking a risk - they get paid no matter how much revenue the fight makes (or doesn't). Showtime backing the fight will get their cut no matter what because they are not putting up the money they're providing the network. Lou Dibella may not make any money but he is also not putting up any money so he also doesn't lose, he's just there for legal purposes, and obviously it strengthens his relationships with Showtime and PBC.
Now we come to Hearn. He believes the fight won't generate enough revenue to pay AJ and Wilder, and cover all costs/expenses, so in effect, the revenue will be in the red when all is said and done. Basically means AJ gets his $50 million, Wilder likely comes out with a lower minimum guarantee, lets say $30 million, networks and everyone else gets their cut no matter what, but you know who doesn't get their cut - The promoters. Lou Dibella and Hearn could possibly come out of this fight making nothing. And that my friends is why Hearn is running around talking to anyone who'll listen to his rants. He wants to see all this information because he's afraid of making nothing. This has nothing to do with the fight, AJ, Wilder, Boxing, this is all about Hearns coffers.
That $50 million guarantee is real. Anyone who's been around boxing as long as I have knows it. Offered by Finkel, signed off by Al Haymon, backed by CBS/Showtime. Haymon has been reported to be backed by a group of billionaire bankers.
"It's up to the manager to make sure the boxer gets a fair chunk of the pie. The promoter has no duty whatsoever to be fair to the boxer."
Anyone on here supporting Hearn is quite frankly an enemy to boxing. Support the sport of Boxing, root for the pugilist, argue for the best fights, yearn for classic battles, never chose a promoter over the sport. Remember, May vs Pac only happened when Arum was forced to step away from negotiations, after that, the fight was made in less than two weeks.
I do however agree with you that this is about Hearn and Hearn alone. I believe that Hearn is concerned about losing revenue streams that don't usually go to his fighter. As you said he us worried about his pockets.
Why folks are defending Hearn, because in their mind an assault on Hearn is an assault on AJ. Not at all accurate. I will say though, there are some AJ fans who see through the bs and have said they don't favor Hearn to do right.Comment

No ******.
If Wilder wanted a meeting and wanted to look at terms for 12.5m before agreeing to the money he would have got it. That's how business is done.
You know, talking?
Wilder doesn't want to talk right now because he can't back that 50m up without using AJs name.
How the fùck do you know how Boxing Business is done? You've never been in the industry or near any pro fighters.
Finkel was behind Tyson and Haymon is a powerbroker. If you don't think they can raise funds for this you're out of your fùcking mind.
Really? That's weird cuz I just took a shít directly on his teef.Comment

Pathetic Eddie making excuses again. About 2 - 3 weeks ago, he sent Wilder an offer (NOT a contract) of $12.5 million - take it or leave it, no % split of the revenue. The delusional AJ protectors said Wilder should just take it despite the fact that it was an OFFER, not a CONTRACT. There was no mention of date, venue, etc.
No one asked where the money is coming from, if the money is in escrow, whether it was upfront or not. No one of the AJ protectors asked where the contract is. Pathological liar Eddie kept saying Wilder is afraid, does not want to take the fight, is using AJ's name and this is more than 6 times what he has ever made.
Fast forward to 2 - 3 weeks after, when A juicing J said that if Wilder's team think it is worth $100 mil, he is happy to take $50 million dollars. Wilder's team took their time and came up with the offer. The only ask from disgraceful liar Eddie and A ducking J is to answer an elementary question with a YES or NO. Very basic stuff - "I accept the offer - when can we meet?". This is not "I ACCEPT THE CONTRACT" but "I ACCEPT THE OFFER."
Instead, innate liar Eddie has a litany of excuses. Examples include:
"I want to see the contract;
How can an Alabama boy send me an email? (This is despite Shelly confirming that Wilder's email was as a result of the team's decision. Wilder also sent the email because Eddie always lies about not getting an email or not knowing who to go to - which is why Wilder sent it to 3 of them so that no one misses it).
Other excuses are:
How do I know if they have the money?
How do I know if the offer is real without a contract? (This is the same Pharisee who did not send a contract to Wilder's team by the way. )
Where did they get the money from?
Is the money available now or is it something they are going to go look for?
Even if the money is available, we would still like to stage it in the UK because of what we have built, etc.
How about this disgraceful human being look in the mirror for once? Did he ask himself the same questions when he sent his pathetic and disrespectful offer 2 - 3 weeks ago? Who is more credible in the industry - Eddie Hearn or Al Haymon? I think even a fool knows that Al Haymon's team is the more credible one.
It is disgraceful folks like Eddie that give boxing a bad name and take away from what the fan wants. Shame!
But it's not surprising coming from an AJ hater like you.
The rest of your post I didn't even bother to read it because I know it would be a load of biased bull**** like always.Comment

whats all this BS agree in 24 hrs or we will what??? What will you do, ignore us for a year? Why cant they just sit down and put the terms on the table and talk it out like adults? Joshua has already said lets roll and i dont see any rolling, just we aint meeting u until u jump through our hoops again!!
If the offer is there and is legit then all u have to do is meet up and go through the details. Why not just say we have a great offer for you, you cant refuse it, here it is, what do u think?? Sounds like they have no details whatsoever to give and are making this up as they go along, very unprofessional, a farce actuallyComment
