Canelo should pull a 2008 Mayweather on the Middleweight division

Mayweather ducked the whole 2008 Welterweight division by retiring and basically forcing the whole division to fight each other. Since Canelo is not a champion currently. Canelo should just fight to stay busy the rest of 2018. This moves forces GGG, Saunders, Jacobs, Charlo, Derveychenko, and Andrade to face each other.

My Plan for Canelo for 2018 & 2019 (Listen up Golden Boy)

First - O'Sullivan (tune up) on September 2018

Second - Murata (for the WBA) on May 2019

Third - GGG (with or without belts) rematch on September 2019

*Fourth - Errol Spence on May 2020

Not true. Floyd didnt look at any of those fighters the way he looked at Pacman. Imagine him accusing Cotto and Margarita of using roids Lol

Not only that, but he returned at a later age, and faced men too big and young for him. Him being 37 facing guys who are 22yrs old and 15lbs bigger, is tougher than him being in his prime facing Margarita and Cotto.

Lol scary thing is that actually doesn't seem very farfetched now a days.

BTW Floyd pretty much ****** the life out of the sport with that whole move. I don't know if that'll be able to be done again at that level, at least not this soon.

Floyd was wrongly frightened to give Oscar a rematch. Apparently Oscar didn’t look quite weak enough against Forbes @150

Canelo is facing a 6 month suspension, he can't have a "stay busy fight" you moron. I doubt he'll be back in September the way things are looking for him.

Canelo's and Floyd's situations are not similar. I think it's crazy how people act like Floyd is the only boxer in boxing. He leaves for a year and some people claim he "****** the life out of the sport" or he's ducking, as if there is not more to the sport than Floyd Mayweather.
