I don't know if Hearn is that committed to avoiding this fight, or if he's just a control freak that wants everything done on his terms even if it means he makes a lot less money out of it. All I know is that Wilder's team, who are some of the guys who've out on bigger events than this, are making a ridiculously good offer to him and Hearn's all but accusing of them of faking it. I don't think anyone can deny that Hearn is either committed to avoiding the fight or is absolutely determined into forcing Wilder into a fight in the UK with a lowball cut. Extremely childish and disrespectful promoting. As a promoter he's arguably failing Joshua at the minute, but of course Joshua will just do whatever Hearn tells him.

Also, this demand to see a contract is also pretty childish. For a huge international media event like this a contract is likely to be hundreds of pages long covering dozens of different variables. It doesn't just materialise out of thin air even if you've got a good lawyer helping you draft it. Besides, there's basically no point in making a contract when there's so much uncertain, ie. locale, broadcasters, who takes what cut of the ticket sales, promotional tours etc. etc. They also need to go the sanctioning bodies and get them to authorise a unification and to postpone any mandatories. All of this needs to be negotiated upon before putting into writing, if Wilder's guys were to submit anything other than a barebones contract right now I bet 80%+ of it would end up having to be redrafted anyway, probably because Hearn would take one look at it and petulantly demand that it be almost entirely changed. Yes, once all has been decided on there'll be a contract to sign, right now Wilder's guys want to know if Hearn at least agrees in principle to the offer they're making. Hearn's response is to basically accuse them of lying and use that to avoid giving anybody a straight answer.

So this Wilder fanboys talking **** here would really accept offers like this when running their personal business? Looks to me like they could sign documents without reading its content. Exactly what they did to have a President like Trump

Foolish question. That's why Wilder team is calling for a meeting to verify where the amount would come from and to clarify other issues. Wait you, would you really sign up for something for a contract you've not seen? Are you ****ing dumb like Al and Finkel?

They want to see proof that the money's available. That's not exactly hard to understand or unreasonable.

You've answered your own question. You would expect to see a draft contract. If a team makes an offer they should at least have the basic details in place and can propose this to the other side. Finer details can be negotiated, along the way.

Also, they will have a huge bank of what are called "precedent" contracts which are essentially draft contracts which have been used before which can form the basis of an initial offer - you don't have to write the whole thing from scratch every time.

so many on this site dont understand the business side of boxing so hearns just meant to say yes and the fights supposedly on? you make it sound like its arranging fight between two guys on a forum. its a 50 mill and upwards event. how the hell can people be siding with the team that refuse to actually meet to discuss the fight...
