So am guessing if Canelo decides to fight him, then he would drop all the belts? I kinda feel sorry for GGG in a way.

The timing of the decision is key. The WBC is the next mandatory due, but they are lenient for the 2nd Alvarez fight, and Jermall Charlo seems to understand that the WBC wants the 2nd Alvarez fight next.

If Golovkin gets greedy and goes for a third fight (or if the September fight doesn't happen and Golovkin tries to wait until May for the rematch), he gets stripped of everything and comes into the rematch as the challenger for the Golden Boy magazine 160lb distinction.

Can't feel sorry for a guy who's simply bent on chasing a check, especially after said guy spent the last four years, railing against other fighters chasing a check.

Golovkin can do what he wants at this point in his career. He wants the Canelo fight so he's going for it. Don't worry about it. Your getting your panties in a knot over nothing. Just enjoy the upcoming fight and consider yourself lucky it wasn't Canelo in the ring with him. Canelo dodged a bullet with NSAC and got delay the fight at the same time which is what you appear to be angling for.

Maybe I'm being hyperbolic here, but having Rozier and Stark training fighters against each other is about as sensible as having Freddie Roach and Marvin Somodio(sp?) going against each other, or the Head****ers Boxing Club (Barry Hunter, Mike Stafford, etc) throwing down, or even Roger and Floyd Sr. going against each other.

For life-changing money and even a shot to unify a division, certain lines may get crossed, but why would Jacobs choose to go that route, knowing that his win tonight would give him a mandated shot at his own world title anyway?
