He has to agree in writing to fight Derevyanchenko before they'll sanction the Vanes fight. He'd be taking a huge gamble hoping for a Canelo fight this early.

i would pick derevyanchenko in this match. ggg is only getting older-not better. good for the ibf. this is what ggg gets for fighting vanes in the first place. now a rematch with canelo might not happen at all.

Derevanchenko is another easy fight, no experience, has fought no one, no fan base, no money, people here talking sh.i.t that he is ducking that guy, who is not tested yet, Golovkin should vacate the IBF belt, get the match against Clenelo, win that fight, then win back his IBF belt or fight BJS for his belt, either way he has good fights waiting for him, @ this stage and age he should take the most lucrative fights he can take, jus like most boxers do on the way out, one of the best middleweights there has been, when you are doing something good or are a succesfull person people tend to criticize, has happened to all the greats.
