Yep.. The other trash belt organizations should follow suit and strip him if he doesn't fight his mandatories.

Stripped for avoiding his mandatory. Karma never forgives! Good on IBF.

We all know you're gonna drop the title and go chasing after Canelo for the money like the little biitch you are!
Maybe they'll do the mandatory if Canelo tell him to wait till May next year. I hope Canelo strings him along and then tells him to get lost early next year. Triple Duck deserves whatever is coming to him.

My understanding was the IBF belt was not on the line for the Vanes fight. They said they weren't sanctioning it a couple of weeks ago. Did that change?

I thought the exemption was just that they were not stripping him for fighting Vanes.

He could hurry and fight both but he aint been that active. I doubt they would go that route going into a fight witb Nelo

Seems fair. He could've done the right thing and fought Derev next. We'll now see whether or not he truly cares about "all the belts" more than money.

Fact is you want GGG pulled in all different directions and I would rather see him make smart choices for his career and make money, while also fighting the best fighters on even terms. Cotto vs GGG at 160 is not really fair, but then again Cotto had a belt at middleweight. Can't snag a belt then say the mandatory has to fight below the weight limit.

Rosado Rejects Catch-Weight: I'll Face Golovkin at 160!
PHILADELPHIA, PA - World ranked challenger “King” Gabriel Rosado was incredulous when he discovered that his world championship bout against WBA/IBO Middleweight World Champion Gennady “GGG” Golovkin set for JANUARY 19 at Madison Square Garden in New York City would be fought at a catch weight of 158.

does somebody have no idea what they are talking about ?

is somebody just an excuse-making muppet ?

Golovkin was pulled in one direction kid..... JUST ONE !!

GGG should have enough sway at this point in his career to take a tune up on short notice then fight Canelo in the biggest fight in boxing.
