That's not how making a deal works. Do your parents still deal with everything for you?

Someone makes an offer. If interested they discuss the details and come to an agreement.

It's the same thing as you've got a flat fee of 12.5 and take it or leave it. Hearn is really a shítty businessman. Backpedaling all over the place. Without AJ he wouldn't be much of anybody tbh.

Why worry about Wilders purse? MAKE SURE AJ gets his. I understand wanting to make sure the funds are there but rematch clauses and worring about the opponents purse just screams fear to me. Make it happen and may the best man win!

Basically let wilder carry on making 2 million a fight and let joshua keep making his 15 million a fight.....wilders team are acting like 2nd hand car salesmen.
            Joshua has povetkin and fury.
Joshua will not fight wilder in the states its riddled with corruption towards the home grown fighter.
            Let wilder come running

Are you even around boxing or just pretend to know how stuff works. I guarantee you I know more how boxing deals are made than you. I've been hanging around boxers, trainers and managers for years that fight out Robert Garcia and the Klimas gym in my town.

They could generate the money. America is hungry for a heavyweight champion. They need to promote the sht out of Deontay. Like seriously Oscar may have a point. They can't get him any sponsors? No McDonald's deal? Nike deal? Built Ford Tough Deal? He needs a new managers team. I can understand Floyd Cuz he beat women. But this guy should be on good Morning America or the late show. He should be on Fox sports etc. He needs to join on reality TV or something. The money is there you gotta
Get the ground work. Somebody call Don King that guy may rob you but he can promote a damn fighter and fight.

"This fight, in my opinion, in England generates, conservatively, $40 million to $50 million. In America, perhaps $45-$50 [million] to $60-$65 [million]. I wouldn’t like to put guarantees on it. They might be doing it."

Notice how he chooses his words wisely. That "generstes" number he is referring to is the fighters' purse. This is an admission that he knows the fight is a money maker in the US. Even with a pot of $65 million, AJ takes 50 and Wilder 15. How is that bad for either guy? Lol

Additionally, he made a comment about ticket prices. But again, he's no dummy. He knows the gate will be 3x larger than any british gate they could pull.

After reading the quotes again. It sounds like he wants to dodge this fight.

But we’re not really interested in people going out and using Anthony’s name to try and attract $50M for his purse. You’ve either got it or you haven’t. Like if they wanted $50M from Matchroom, they could have it in their account today. That’s the difference.

“I mean, with all due respect to Deontay Wilder, who I like a lot, he doesn’t have $50M. So all I have right now is an email from a guy from Alabama who is telling me he’s gonna give us $50M. I get quite a lot of those emails. Sometimes from Saudi Arabia, sometimes from China, sometimes from Nigeria. And normally they ask me to send sort of $50,000 first and then they’ll send it back...”
They have every right to use Joshua's name and offer money to promote the fight, especially since it's a fight between Joshua and Wilder. Money talks, plain and simple. Here is a hypothetical situation. For example, let's just say fighter A and fighter B are ordered to purse bids. Anybody with a promoters license is allowed to bid on a fight. It's not limited to only the fighters managers and promoters. If I had a promoters license, I could run my numbers and bid on any fight that I thought could generate a profit. Of course, you are using fighter A and fighter B's name, but they are getting compensated for using their name. Hearn just don't like the idea of not being in control.

He wasn't so concerned when he himself offered 12.5$ mil and Wilder felt underpaid but now all of a sudden he worries lol there's no low this manipulative scumbag won't stoop to.
