Makes sense, well guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens in June, I expect Charlo to tune Trout up!

It'd be weird if you weren't.

"Lara's manager: We don't think Lara can win the rematch"

      See how weird that'd be?

Well shouldn't you be "confident" you can win? Still gotta put together the plan & make the needed adjustments, but you should have confidence you can do it.

Whatever with all that I do think its a highly winnable rematch for Lara. But yea I think you gotta feel the momentum is with Hurd (with the fight itself & with career trajectory) so even as a Lara guy I'm leaning Hurd's way this time.

The guy who said he was confident is Lara’s manager, not the fighter himself.

I was speaking on "the Lara's teams" outlook not just Lara himself.

But you don't think he should feel confident about his chances when he lost the first fight by a point? I don't think its a crazy leap in logic to think Lara's team could see some spots where they coulda saved a point or two they lost in the first fight or won a round or two they didn't in the first fight.

If this fight is made, Lara needs to get his team to work on a good random testing, long way out from the actual fight.

That's the only effective change he could make and I don't think he can do that for 12 against Hurd.
It'll be interesting to see Lara try. If he does, Hurd will also have to be more effective with his pressure as Lara may win more of the earlier rounds.

Hurd stops him in a rematch. Lara has a waaaayyy better pedigree and usually the boxer wins a rematch. Too bad that won't change the fact that Hurd is ******edly huge and ******edly strong and athletic.

I really feel like Lara is posturing on this and isn't keen on a rematch. He took a hard beating in that first fight and it won't be any easier next time.

If this happens it will inevitably shorten his career.
