Lara all the way, but it will be a tough fight and Hurd will come on more than he did the first time. Lara will figure out how to hurt him.

I am? The pure boxer, better skilled usually win rematches. Lara can do a BUNCH of things different. Hurd isnt gonna change anything up. I would start by not trading with him soo much and dont throw everything you have at him the 1st half of the fight.

Though I thought Lara would take the first fight, I'm not seeing a lot he's going to be able to do different to win the rematch. Hurd is now going to be even more confident, experienced, and prepared. Lara tried to go the route of hurting the guy and it did nothing. Is he going to pot shot and run the whole time now? That's the only effective change he could make and I don't think he can do that for 12 against Hurd.

So Haymon made a deal with the WBA to protect Charlo from the Hurd beating? Thats pathetic.

Lara needs some time off, rushing right in will make the beating even worse than last time!

Haymon needs to have Hurd vs Charlo next ASAP, i don't like the idea of Hurd going back to back against Lara and then go in with a fresher Charlo who is facing a past prime damaged goods Trout for some reason!

Not sure why Charlo didn't tell Haymon he rather fight Hurd now!

This is what I've been saying. Hurd/Charlo is a 7 figure fight for both guys and Lara is just in the way at this point. We all know who the real WBA champ is even if Lara picks up a vacant so Hurd will still get his respect. Idk what the WBA is on with this one, but they should've at least made him get a couple of fights to earn a shot back at Hurd.

He hasn't fought since Lubin and that was in October. Hurd probably won't be ready for another fight until October. No reason for Charlo to sit on the bench for a year of his prime gathering rust and not getting paid.

Lara needs to wait his turn....

I've always liked Lara and agree he's got several bad brakes in his career however this could have gone either way. I would like to see Hurd vs Charlo and then Hurd can rematch Lara because Hurd, I believe moves up to middle weight some time in 2019.
