"Show me a screen shot of the signed contract," Mayweather said he told Pacquiao, in a moment that was captured by fans on camera phones and later blew up Twitter."

"Mayweather and Pacquiao agreed to meet after the game, and they ultimately united at Pacquiao's hotel room.

There, Pacquiao expressed how serious he was to strike a deal, and Mayweather showed his sincerity by placing an after-midnight phone call to Haymon in front of Pacquiao, telling the manager he wanted the deal, according to fight officials."

If what Floyd says there is true, then the deal had either already been negotiated and just needed the 2 fighters to agree to it, or Haymon and Arum got it made after Floyd rang Haymon up from Manny's hotel.
Offers were on the table. The deal was the split. Pac had signed a contract with Arum regarding what he was willing to accept. Again, they agreed to the terms THEN later signed contracts. All Finkel is waiting for is for Hearn to do what Mayweather did. Call and agree to the currently offered terms.

Question, in your mind what could possibly make Hearn or Joshua say no to 50M or 50% whichever is higher? Under what circumstances do you think it's logical to walk away from such a deal (outside of money isn't secure)? Location? Ring size? Who walks first? Who is lead promoter?

anyone who is doubting that offer is nothing but an *******

that fight will not happen in the USA, and Wilder will need to give ground on a number of things..... but a $50mil guarantee is one hell of a starting point

the folks who are not serious are the ones who insist that offer is not genuine

I need you guys to list the offers from Al Haymon that were not genuine

      alright then

      grow up you silly cvnts

FACT: if a fighter makes your guy a good offer, and your guy refuses to even consider that offer...... (and YES, I am also talking about Saunders offer to fight Hypekin in June)..... then insisting that offer was not genuine makes you look like a shameless excuse-making muppet

Saunders and Wilder want to fight... Golovkin and Joshua, do not

edit: not directed at you DAZED obviously

So you're acknowledging that the offers from both sides were similar in that they didn't include any details other than the split/purse guarantee. Which was my original statement.

I can think of a reason.....

If I was a fighter..... it would mean that the timing aint right, and I don't really want that fight..... at least not now anyways..... mumbles something about greener pastures, etc

or, if I was a fan..... it could be because I am an excuse-making muppet with no shame ???

let me know how I scored

I think Joshua earns more fighting Wider vs those 3 dudes vs those 3 dudes + a 4th non-Deontay guy, win, lose or draw so idk if its a real thing or not. I think Joshua's value is gonna be there. UK fans aren't as fairweather as US fans.
I 100% agree with you but to me that's the way he is playing it. That or he is just playing around and it's all a scheme between both sides.

Perfect score my friend. I've noticed that some wait till Hearn speaks so they can align the excuses up with his statement. Till he talks...crickets or they actually sound like normal boxing fans.

Hearn actually said..."what if the location is not to our liking". Who tf cares you're guaranteed 50M for what your guy says is easy work!

It hasn't gotten to that yet and when it does, you can simply say "no" or come up with what you are willing to do instead for the $50m you agreed to and specifically said you wanted. And if the other side is not willing to work with you on it, you can refuse the whole thing altogether.

No one is signing a contract, they are simply discussing.

Do you like this diamond ring? "Show me where it's from so I know if it's blood diamond" is not the answer. Yes or no doesn't mean you MUST buy it.

If the money is guaranteed then sure I'd sign in a second and so will they. It's incredible money but it's natural to question if it really exists. Could be too good to be true and that appears to be the case since they cancelled today's meeting and tomorrow's after a request to confirm it's genuine.
Of course it’s a guarantee not a “you might get 50 mil”

He said he’s gonna get 50 where it comes from is irrelevant
