  • I like the idea of a fight between loma for building it up. Loma vs Davis is a great fight but not main event ppv worthy

I think Tank is too green, but he'll do it for right price, just like Canelo did! My question to the haters is "Was Lomachenko too green at 23?" We are asking a 23 yr. old to challenge a Top 3 (#1 for many) P4P fighter in his prime! Would Lomachenko's father allow his son to do that when he was 23? Why didn't he? Was it because he was "scared," "a b*tch," or "a duck?"

Don't go pro if you aren't ready then right? Lomachenco turned pro 2 years after? So what? Everyone always says "amateurs are a total different story"... so why is this a comparison? Perhaps Davis had no idea that a fighter of lomachenco's calibre would be there. Tbh I don't think tank beats GRJ if he moves to 130 either. I'm pretty sure he'll avoid him too.

No matter where you see Tank as a fighter, Loma wasn't fighting pros at this age. It is completely unfair how you judge how Tank is being built given his resume is better through 20 fights than someone you see as a top 3 p4p boxer right now.

Circling back to our discussion, Loma was in the beginning of his athletic prime at 26 when he lost to Salido. Tank is 3 years from the start of his athletic prime. when Tank is 26 he should definitely be fighting Salido level fighters.

There is no reason 23 yr old Davis through 20 fights should be fighting prime 30 yr old Loma right now when he hasn't even fought a top 5 130lber other than you wanting him to take a huge risk you would NEVER ask anyone you liked to take.

yeah but hes not even grading his opposition up, in fact its got slightly worse recently. hes got no business being in there with scrubs like cuellar. i just dont like this mentality of protecting the 0, who really gives a **** if you lose. as i said before, the bar has been set so low in terms of how people have done against lomachenko that if he won a couple of rounds and went the distance his stock would probably go up. Do fighters have to be like wilder, fighting 39 times and be in 30s before stepping up the competition?

              • honestly, it's not that big a deal. Loma and Tank in two different weight classes now, let it go.

Tank can have some nice fights at 130; thinking Berchelt specifically, but Tevin Farmer, Machado, Vargas. But Tank certainly needs to fight someone better than Cueller.

He didn't open his mouth until pro debut, even close to 30.

We expect Davis and his team to shut their ****ing mouths, until then he is a little coward. Understood?

Tank has been on the championship level since he was 22! Would it be OK if I said, "Tank is ducking Lomachenko, but he still has more balls than Lomachenko did when he was 23!"
If he balls he wouldn’t duck Lomachenko just admitt it Tank and his team fear Lomachenko
