No matter where you see Tank as a fighter, Loma wasn't fighting pros at this age. It is completely unfair how you judge how Tank is being built given his resume is better through 20 fights than someone you see as a top 3 p4p boxer right now.
Circling back to our discussion, Loma was in the beginning of his athletic prime at 26 when he lost to Salido. Tank is 3 years from the start of his athletic prime. when Tank is 26 he should definitely be fighting Salido level fighters.
There is no reason 23 yr old Davis through 20 fights should be fighting prime 30 yr old Loma right now when he hasn't even fought a top 5 130lber other than you wanting him to take a huge risk you would NEVER ask anyone you liked to take.

Since when is it wrong to want a fight between guys closer in level?
I, nor any other poster, has posted the fight should take place in 10 years. That is you overexaggerating because you know my point is completely fair.
The fight probably happens in a year or so, after Loma fights Manny.Comment

Literally 100 different posters have explained why they are not fighting now-because Tank has little or no chance to win.
No one is suggesting Tank fight all bums to stay undefeated. Posters are suggesting he keep stepping up in comp. However, that isn't good enough for you because, again, you just want to see Loma win an easy fight over a Floyd promoted guy.
What is interesting is to watch you and others go from wanting to see "the best fight the best" to now wanting to see a 90/10 fight. Yet if Tank were to fight a 90/10 fight, you'd have a fit.
Loma didn't take a risk by fighting Salido, he was the favorite. He just was unprepared for the type of violent, brawling assault and dirty tactics from a much bigger man given his lack of pro experience. It was the equivalent of Broner/Maidana.
a cherrypick gone wrong is the term you and others use.
No he isn't. He is #2. How about he fight #1, Crawford, after he fights Manny?
That would be a fight he wouldn't be favored in and a huge step up in comp for Loma. he'd be much smaller as well. It would be a 75/25 fight in favor of Crawford.
You probably don't want to see that doe. I wonder why????
Wilder was favored fairly wide over Ortiz it was considered a risk, Joshua was favored over Klit it was considered a risk. That's two recent examples.
I think Loma-Linares is somewhat of a risk too going straight to the #1 lightweight who holds a size advantage.Comment

Yes. I've posted that dozens of times. What is wrong with that?
