I remind you the story of Erik Morales. Loma is taking the same risk Morales took-going up in weight for what is assumed to be a win and then coming back for a bigger fight. Morales got the crap beat out of him by Raheem and then looked like a shell against Manny in the rematch in aprt because he had an issue making weight after going up.

What if something similar happens to Loma once he goes up to fight Manny and then comes back down to fight Tank?
tank hasnt proved a damn thing. just admit hes scared of taking a risk.

Neither of these two is likely to make any waves at welter. The weight-classes these two fight in don't usually produce many "Stars". In the end, it may turn out that they need each other to change that.

Gervonta has proven himself a top 5-7 JLW through 20 fights. Pedrazza and Walsh were dominant performances against solid opponents.

Loma's resume is far better. we agree he is the much better boxer right now. He is older and more skilled. Tank will not fight him until he has gained enough experience to have a chance.

Where they are equal is Loma has not fought anyone he was not favored to beat. Neither has Tank. As such, if you are OK with how Bob is moving Loma, you should be ok with how Floyd is moving Tank.

no im not okay with it, it doesnt look as if hes actually progresing quality of opponents. you guys act like his 16, hes a grown ****ing man at 23. pedraza and walsh are nobodies, simple as that. why cant you and others just be a man and say tank is scared ****less of lomachenko. why you got to defend every black fighter for lol. noones favourited to beat lomachenko because hes probably the best fighter in the sport lol, it doesnt mean hes being protected, same way mayweather was a favourite in every fighter.

He can be a star fighting bums and guys tailor made for him but what about making legacy by challenging guys that can beat him.

Mentioning Lomachenko's name was just promotion talk, nonsense along with all the talk of Floyd throwing Tank in the deep end, all promo nonsense.

I suspect we'll hear Tanks version of Canelo's "Mexicans don't fuc& around" but in the end he'll fight nobody's until Loma is old enough. Nothing new, straight from the Oscar-Floyd play book.

Fool me once, shame on me, fool me twice....nope, not buying it, been there, done that.

Tank has been a pro since he was 18. He became the IBF Champion at 22. He's also traveled to the UK to beat the IBF #1 contender in his backyard! I think he's done a lot for a 23 year old. Loma was still in the amateurs @ 23!

As usual, you let your racism infect a decent debate because you've run out of ideas on how to mask what your real point is. Never once did I post or imply he was being protected.

Pedrazza and walsh are solid opponents for a fighter like Tank at this stage of his career. he clearly isn't scared of Loma, Floyd/Tank are going to make the fight when Tank has the best chance to win, not now when he doesn't.

You want the fight now because it is 90/10 type fight in favor of Loma rather than have it down the road when its 60/40 type fight in favor of Loma and would be much closer and more entertaining.
