Sever 3 years behind bars. Everyone turned on him at the time and trashed him and said his career is over. He came out of prison a converted ****** for phuk sake and despite the outrage he was still the biggest star and draw in boxing. Hell years after the **** charge he bit a phuking mans ears off again everyone said his career was over but he was suspended from boxing only 1 year came back still the biggest draw and landed the Lewis payday 11 years after being arrested for ****. Tyson career went on over a decade AFTER **** remaining the biggest draw in boxing.

But you telling me Canelo having a 6 month suspension for small traces of a fat burner which may or may not came from the meat problem in mexico is going to end his career or popularity? This is like the clowns who years ago said Floyd's career was over after HE WENT TO JAIL for beating his kid's mother in front of his kids. Floyd came out of jail and went on to make more money and involved in bigger fights then he did BEFORE jail. Don't be shocked if Canelo comes back and makes more money and is involved in even bigger PPVs.
their troubles had nothing to do with with cheating. that's whole another ball game. clenelo is a fraud a cheater his reputation has been ripped to shreds and good luck finding viable ppv opponents for those bigger ppvs after ggg retires its a total wasteland where are those big names at?

He couldn’t dope with Mayweather because he demanded strict blood and urine tests and his over rated punk ass got schooled-LOL!!!! What happens when 2 Mexicans steal a spaceship? Illegal aliens-LOL!!!!!
Kenichi Ogawa got the exact same punishment. I guess the NSAC is in his pocket as well?

Exactly their troubles were worst and it didn't hurt their PPVs. And if you want to talk just guys who failed drug tests then look at Morales and Vargas same tainted meat and it hasn't effect Morales legacy or Vargas. If we talk guys who are actual proven steroid cheats then look at Shane Mosley didn't hurt his career either he went on to secure bigger fights and paydays then he got BEFORE he was busted as a "cheater". If you think Canelo won't continue to be a huge draw you just clueless. Canelo sold 1M PPV WITHOUT GGG last year. I'm sure he will be fine after GGG retires and a new boogyman will always pop up. That's how boxing works there is always a "next guy" a superstar can find to fight.

First of all, I never said he wouldn't. I'm saying that's what his peer (Jacobs) is saying. You cannot compare Mike Tyson to Canelo. Mike Tyson was a force of nature. He was must see TV. Mike Tyson's character was tainted before he even became a boxer. People watched Tyson to see him either knock someone out in spectacular fashion or do something crazy in the ring. Canelo is the face of boxing by default. A retired Mayweather out sold him with a farcical fight against a MMA fighter. Canelo is tainted. People might tune in to see him fight Golovkin but I guarantee you his drawing power will be dramatically reduced after that fight. There's nowhere to go after Golovkin. If he loses people will say he lost because he didn't have his PEDs. You already know what they'll say if he wins especially if it's one sided. God forbid he wins by KO.

Canelo was found to have used a ped in his prime, leading into a huge fight which caused a cancelation of a fight. Also back then, people believed that peds just helped in gaining muscle. Not there's knowledge of how it can help with speed, power, stamina and weight loss. The perception of how it can help a boxer is much different now.

Floyd vs Connor sold more then anybody in any era. He's the biggest draw period saying canelo is only the face by default because he retired is just ******. Fact is Canelo already proved he can draw millions of PPVs without GGG. GGG isn't the draw here if he was he wouldn't of moved his fight OFF ppv and moved it from MGM to cheap azzz stubhub where his tickets still ain't selling by the way. Tyson lost how many times and was still a huge draw. Broner has lost how many times and is still the biggest draw on Showtime. Oscar lost and drew higher PPV sales. Manny got put in a phuking comma by Marquez and fought Floyd 5 years after he was no longer in his prime with losses on his record during that time and the fight still made more money then any fight in history at the time. You can wish and cry about all you want but Canelo will still be a massive draw and sell with or without GGG.

I can understand jacobs frustration here.. Thiss guy had and overcame cancer. As most will know doing peds will increase your risk of getting cancer and being jacobs was there and done that, the guy absolutely hates fighters who use peds being he is a clean fighter.

i cant blame him at all being a cancer survivor for making these comments about canelo. we shouldnt applaud cheaters, they should never be able to live it down that they were caught cheating!!!!
