Problem is mental's Fury state, not surprising that dude is still a fantastic boxer.
How does he can prepare well, and be focused to win a mega fight after suffering depression and drugs problems? We dunno.

Hard to come back in boxing, coming back in the gym is OK, coming back at the top under the spotlights is a different thing.

Povetkin plodding his way to a points win over Hammer really put that performance by Fury into perspective. He handled Hammer like a father giving his son a boxing lesson after buying him his first pair of gloves for Xmas ..

And that brings back some poignant memories for me. I'm going to take myself off for a walk and have a little cry now.

It was an absolute masterclass from Fury. I've been rewatching all his fights, and whilst the Klitschko fight was admittedly dull, that was on Wlad not adjusting and not forcing the fight, Fury did what he had to do to win, but that was a 50% Fury in there.

People call the Hammer/Chisora II fights dull, i disagree, i just saw a master boxer showing off his skills. It's not Tyson's fault that he's levels above everyone else.

Wilder beats up Fury. Both are awkward - Fury has the better boxing skills but Wilder is faster, better stamina, more power, etc. Fury will prove difficult initially, changing from southpaw to orthodox and moving awkwardly to create confusion. But that will work to his disadvantage too. Wilder is also awkward and happy to take fire to give fire. Wilder eventually catches Fury in the middle rounds and knocks him out (say rounds 6 - 9).

Wilder was in trouble in hes last fight, so much so the doctor had to check him out at the start of the round. It wouldn't be so bad if it hadn't been against a shorter old shot fighter with high blood pressure. Wilders stamina comes from hes low workrate. He sits outside, sometimes falls behind on points and relies on one punch. That wont work with a big man who can box, match him for reach. Wilder has noone on hes record worth noting yet. Fury should stop him within ten.
