A PR jab too I should think. I just skimmed over it there, I'm not convinced there's really much meat in either sides talk until they actually meet, which they inevitably will.
They'll both push and jockey for the upper hand before going into negotiation, neither side wants to be a pushover. In the mean time, whatever they say builds interest in the fight.

Sorry it took a few to reply. Yeah, if they can show the numbers are solid--and Eddie can't nitpick over a few minor things and say it was bogus; but if they show the right numbers, they'd look like a bunch of schmucks to turn it down. Especially if Shelly came with it after Hearn tried to embarrass him lol.

Also location, date, venue, TV network, time, ringwalks, glove sizes, sanctioning bodies, where the money is coming from, press conferences, etc.

If it's real then this is a great offer for AJ. He doubles his highest payday and cracks America when he smashes Wilder to bits.

Two birds, one stone.

Only losers here are UK fans who have to stay up until 5am. And the guys putting up the money if it doesn't do great numbers.
