I don't know who you're talking to with all that emotion kid, but dress up your talks if you're posting at me Internet gangster. Obviously Haymon and Showtime are securing the funds, why would Wilder have them secured? Are you okay in the head? You literally sound like a troll Eddie Hearn. Wilder said the money is in the bag. He wouldn't say all this only to have egg on his face. Let's hope the deal gets done. In the meantime you can go back to watching vids of AJ skipping rope with his shirt off. Sorry we bothered you.Comment

It hilarious how AJ fans be claiming that AJ is the A side, he makes 20 million a fight, he is the bigger draw, he has more belts and the fight should be in the UK and he calls the shots. Sorry to break it to you, doesn't matter how many belts he has and how much he draws in the UK, the only one who calls the shots is the one with the most money and at the moment, Team Wilder is putting up more money and it's up to AJ and Hearn to agree knowing that it will be team Wilder running the show not Matchroom and Hearn.Comment

I don’t understand the bravado but if you are happy that is all that really matters🎷Comment

PBC had a 400 million dollar endowment. showtime is a multi billion dollar company and owned by CBS, one of the biggest media companies in the world. that money could be in an escrow account tomorrow.
you guys don't understand american boxing finances, and that's fine. i don't expect you to. you can't get more than around 2 million to fight on showtime. see my previous post. haymon fighters get paid anyway when they don't fight. the fight will go to PPV and sell for 75-100 a pop. it will be in las vegas, where a casino will pay you to host the fight and where you can sell a 10,000 dollar ringside seat that might hit the secondary market for 25K.
and if you're eddie hearn, none of that matters. you're guaranteed the money even if the fight sells one ppv. again, showtime and CBS are multi billion dollar companies. this is not a bluff, it's a real offer with a real guarantee. not a fan of how these guys are using the media and arm twisting with "24 hour windows," but this is not deontay wilder claimin ghe's got 50 million in his back pocket. it's PBC and showtime partnering to offer up a ton of money.Comment

thanks. i have a lot of experience in boxing, had media credentials for years and that separates me from about 99.99something percent of these guys in terms of my understanding of both the sport and its politics / finances. i have a decent idea, about as good as you can get without being involved [which is nowhere near perfect,] of how these negotiations take place. like any negotiation, it's all about leverage.
it's my opinion that both teams would be content with the fight happening next year, but hearn is the guy holdint eh strings and the main reason the fight is not being promoted for this fall.Comment

aj fans want to know where the money came from and they want to see the email, they are saying aj shouldn't take the deal.Comment

this is what im thinking in the back of my head but seeing how some of these aj fans are backing any and everything hearn says but condemn anything that comes from wilders camp is disgusting, so I call some of it outLast edited by uppercut510; 04-26-2018, 01:45 PM.Comment
