I can't see how they make the numbers if it's in Vegas, the live gate money in UK is there best chance of funding it. PPV would have to do huge numbers, and I gotta tell ya, hardly anyone outside of boxing know's who AJ outside of the UK and Wilder, is getting bigger in the US due to his PR lately, but elsewhere in the world, no one know who he is.

Who says that they have to be inactive for 8 months?

Not to toot my own horn, but with the Alvarez-Golovkin fight falling apart, what's to stop Hearn and Haymon/DiBella from sitting down this Friday and ending up with a deal in principle for the last Saturday of the summer?

Wilder's assumed window starts at September, and there's very little doubt that Eddie Hearn was already talking with Sky Sports about Joshua fighting in the US possibly at the end of August and how that'd be handled for Box Office.

Remember the actual revenue, NET REVENUE, is only about half.

So if the fight does 150 million in sales, that's only 75 million for the fighters and promoters.

Which they obviously have, if they offered AJ this AFTER offering something to Brazeale.

Basically, the AJ ass-lickers are simply denying this is true. Or that, yea will Wilder will sign a contract but he won't pay AJ.

If Wilder signs a contract guarantying AJ $50 million, then if he does not pay, it will be held from his future fights until AJ is paid in full. That is why the U.S. has civil law, to enforce legal contracts.

they gonna say "so sue us, good luck."

And sure Joshua would prolly win, but after half a decade of litigation.

Usually a guarantee involves giving that fighter at least HALF of the money up front before the fight. That is a true guarantee.
At least someone on here has some sense, I was beginning to think this thread was only being viewed by the inmates of an asylum where they were only allowed to watch Wilder on a 24hr continuous loop.

AJ is very popular in the Middle East and all over Africa... seen something saying he has a fan base in China too, but dunno if that was serious.

Lol they might make a million or two from Africa and Middle East combined - I'm sure some of the bigger networks there would pay for the television rights to it.

But there's no PPV markets there.

If they said in their stipulation, or their "guarantee," that AJ is given at least HALF the money up front - as in they literally wire him 25 million when the contract is signed - then I'll take this serious.

You don't know much about the legal system, do you?

How long it takes for those suits to actually get resolved? AND THEN, even after you win the suit, and wait for all the appeals processes to be finished, you have to actually ENFORCE the decision. Over a civil matter between two private parties, the courts can't just go into the other dude's bank account, they have to put liens on property, garnish earnings, etc. If the other dude files BANKRUPTCY? Oh, good luck fighting over the UCC article 9 code regarding who gets what, as I'm sure there will be other creditors coming after money, and property.

In this you see they want the fight in Vegas on Showtime PPV. Showtime and CBS for sure put up a huge guarantee to make it happen along with Haymons power brokers. But Hearn is shook about the fight being in the US and no rematch clause. Either way they are sitting down Friday and I just want this to get done period. And do 2 fights one in the US one in the UK
