What AJ fans are in a panic? Where are they being delusional? I haven't seen any of that and I've read every comment on here.

You're just puffing out your chest like an idiot and making yourself look foolish.
    Quiet you b!+ch!

Grown folks are talking, no delusional AJ fan girls allowed!

AJ fans have made threads that Wilder is scared and would never have enough money from himself or his backers to put up the money!

Checkmate had been served, swallow AJ and Hearn balls while your at it!

You can tell Edwards is nervous, he's making up more lies saying that there's no offer like he didn't get them emails!

What's the next excuse Edwards will come up with next and you AJ fan girls will say?

Wilder didn't like their offer so front the money, Wilder just did it!

You AJ fan girls are more delusional than Pac fans and GGG fans unbelievable!

That UK dust is doing numbers on y'all!

500k sounds about right to me. No way it comes close to 1.5 million. Canelo vs GGG was the biggest fight that could have been made since Pac-may and it did like 1.5 or 1.3 or something.

I just don't see how that's plausible. It'll need 2 mil buys for it to make any kind of money.
The live event will generate well beyond $10m, lol.

Saul Alvarez vs Gennady Golovkin did over $25m at the live gate, and Wilder vs Joshua for the undisputed heavyweight championship is a bigger fight than that. You add the blowout numbers likely to come from hosting all of the fans at closed circuits across MGM Resorts properties in Las Vegas, and it's pretty likely that they might see triple that.

Doing some quick and dirty, $35m into the pot from the US PPV, $20m into the pot from the UK PPV (conversion rates, the split between Eddie and Sky Sports and how blockbuster Joshua fights sell at 2am are unknown, but it's a good placeholder number), and an easy $20m coming from the live event and you're already at $75m in the pot.

Costs of staging the event, marketing/promo, promoter's cut, etc will be deducted out, but the money is still there to get.

And if Canelo and GGG are not household names then nobody in boxing is.
I live in Manhattan and work in midtown (lawyer). Alvarez and GGG did not have the buzz that this fight has, trust me. There are a lot of high roller (Connecticut/Long Island) types looking to spend some money on this fight. People are already debating who wins. That's not normal. This fight will sell well. People have been waiting for a mega-HW fight for over a decade.

To each his own. This fight does at least 1 million PPV. I think the reason why Wilder's team said end of the year is to allow the fight to be marketed across the globe to bring enough hype to it - adding to the existing hype. Even at 500k PPV, the fight makes the $100 million mark. PPV here is between $69 and $89. Assuming the lower end, we already have $35 mil; can see Vegas gate providing another $35 mil easily. UK PPV adds to it; sponsorships, other revenue from other countries who will show the fight, etc. This is another reason why it is important to see Eddie's disgraceful effort to underpay Wilder. Exposed!

                  • Win or lose that’s some good money. I would take that in a heart beat. Vegas, Brooklyn or Atlanta (closest biggest metro area to Alabama)?
