  • Anybody doubting the popularity of this fight is crazy. Last fight I seen get this many comments this fast was Mayweather v. Manny.

Guess I am going to Vegas later this year.

Two guys arent going to stay that long of inactivity on purpose and think they will be at their best . Their going to fit a fight in somewhere if it takes place in December .
Thanks, at least one person is talking some sense here.

            The fight isn't a $100m fight.

The gate is a max of $10m and PPV is a max of $30-40m based on facts and other gates, PPV's as a reference. Where's all the other money coming from and do you think the venue, promoters, etc; aren't taking a cut?

There's gotta be some kind of condition to that "guaranteed $50million"!

                Who's putting the guarantee up?!

If this is real, I cannot envisage Joshua not taking that deal.

lmao oh boy you people are next level with it

Which means Wilder will fight Breazeale and Joshua Povetkin .

Both have to win to make the fight happen should they come to an agreement .
That's not what is being reported:
"He [Shelly Finkel] also said there would be no rematch clause and that the fight would have to be next for each man.

"It has to be the next fight for each of them," he said. "No rematch clause and it's for all the belts. We asked for them to send us an acceptance (by the end of Thursday). Joshua (previously) asked for $50 million against 50 percent and we gave it to them. They probably don't believe it's this big of an offer but it's an unbelievable offer. I hope they accept. Deontay is thrilled and believes Joshua will take it.

While he [Hearn] is here [New York] , Finkel and Haymon are scheduled to meet on Friday to discuss a Joshua-Wilder deal.

"They said we have to accept the fight by (Thursday), which is ridiculous when we have questions that need to be answered," Hearn said. "But we have a meeting on Friday and we will go through the offer. I'd like to see a contract and see where the money is coming from and the location of the fight is important. We don't have a problem doing it in America even though we'd like to do it in the U.K."
