Who promoted the Brook fight? Hearn. Was he the lead promoter? Yes? Does he have different deals with Sky than Warren had (pre BT) tick yes. Different to HBO - tick yes. You are simplifying to fit your agenda which at this point is the fairly ridiculous Boxing Scene chief Golovkin detractor.

I'm not so sure about June but didn't Saunders have a fight lined up with Murray from months back ? As his team were sure Canelo Golovkin were going to fight next month. Can he just break a contract with Murray just like that and mess up tv schedules. Maybe but as I said in my other post - Golovkin is locked into his $40 million jackpot in September and so would anybody else be in their right mind - and that can be Ward, (especially) Mayweather, Pac, JMM, Loma, Mickey, Charlos, even AJ - nobody is in the business of risking up $40 million paydays

they offered to split the money more-fairly with Hearn, because they actually wanted to fight Brook

they refused to split the money fairly with Warren - and then ran off to fight Wade, with NO counter-offer..... because they had very little interest in Saunders

maybe that fight will happen, but I suspect not

if that fight was gonna happen it likely would have happened by now

they could have given Hypekin 10-14 days off..... while they arranged some southpaws..... and then slide him back into the groove with up to 7 weeks, should they need it..... to ensure that he does not over-train, and that he peaks at the right time

I must admit after GGG's most recent performances, and Saunder's sky high belief in himself, I fear G might come out on the wrong end of the cards for this one.

Unless GGG can put all that he used to put together, together again, pure dominance, confidence, ring generalship, cutting off the ring AND then unleashing demonic combinations, then when GGG does trap him and stand there like a shag on a rock as he now does, Saunders will do what Canelo did, except he will move in and out, throwing fast combo's keeping Golovkin off balance. Maybe.

I think if Golovkin tells Sanchez to train him properly and not mouth off to the media so much - a trainer who will work with GGG's strenghts - not turn him into a boxer/puncher like Abel has.

Golovkin is a fighter who does have under-rated boxing skills, but that is not his greatest asset. He reminds me (or used to) of the great JCC, constant pressure, BODY ATTACK (where has that gone?) breaking down his opponent to the point of exhaustian and demoralization.

Being afraid of a fighter and not fighting him is one thing. Not being able to fight because of scheduling is another. I guess I should not be surprised you can't see the difference between the two...I guess I should have seen that when you assumed GGG was afraid of Saunders.
