It's hard for me to dislike Jacobs- I bet he's trying to keep his record and run intact until he can get paid with a bigger fight (GGG, Canelo, BJS).

GGG just fought the two best MWs in consecutive fights. I can't blame him for taking a soft touch, especially considering the time crunch he faced because of Canelo getting popped.
