HBO should just pull the plug on boxing

If they're not going to put up real money then why keep doing it? Jacobs-Sulecki, GGG-Vanes and Ali-Smith are gonna bomb.

It's a bummer that HBO has such a solid commentary crew but they never get to call any good fights anymore!

No HBO isn't crap. The promotors, sanctioning bodies and commisions like the NSAC are crap. Who the hell wants to pay good money to see a fight when the winner is decided in advance. The announcers are left scrambling to come up with reasons that a child can see are really lies why fighter A beat fighter B.

You're seriously overreacting. Golovkin-Vanes was last minute, Ali-Smith is a smallish fight, and Jacobs needs time to build up.

They definitely don't invest in boxing like they once have but I still like having options. It doesn't benefit the sport if they cut boxing it just means less people will be watching. They still have good names on hbo and decent matchups so I don't know why some of you want them to fail
