A hair test could be performed (and could at least provide additional evidence (retrospective analysis). You could see if the restaurant receipts match with the clen traces in Canelo's hair. You could establish if it's likely he's been exposed to meat from that one restaurant. If not, the likelihood of meat contamination still remains, but chances of that being the case are closer to zero.
I'd be happy to give Canelo the benefit of the doubt (based on a hair test) and based on ongoing and transparent testing. But the fact remains, he is not signed up for the clean boxing program. Yes, he gets tested prior to his fights, but that usually happens on a systematic basis (8 weeks prior to fight on a random basis). Meaning he has a window prior to that 8 weeks to "prepare" for the fight.
