The IBF has ordered Whyte vs Pulev and now the WBC has made Whyte vs Ortiz an eliminator match. Which one will he fight and which one is a better fight?
Who will Whyte fight? Ortiz or Pulev?

I actually think he'll fight Ortiz. He's talked a few times about wanting Wilder so this will be his chance, whereas he can get a shot at Joshua anytime really.Comment

I don't think he will want to fight Ortiz...but this may be the WBC's way of removing Whyte from the Wilder stakes. Be pushed further down the line if you reject the fight...or get knocked out trying to be great. It's really a no win situation and a closing of the net around Joshua.Comment

Pulev, with his height, jab and movement, would be harder for Whyte to beat than Ortiz, imo. Dillian struggled against Helenius, and Pulev is much better than him.
But Ortiz wouldn't be so difficult to get to, and he has lousy stamina. Dillian would wear him out and stop him inside the distance, I reckon.Comment

Not if he wins. If he wins then Wilder and his team have to deal with Hearn and Hearn is sitting pretty being able to cash in on Wilder twice. Hell if Whyte somehow beats both Ortiz and Wilder then Hearn is really sitting pretty.I don't think he will want to fight Ortiz...but this may be the WBC's way of removing Whyte from the Wilder stakes. Lol, Wilder doesn't need a net if he wants to fight AJ. All he has to do is come out from wherever he's been hiding and say, "Ok, let's get it on"I don't think he will want to fight Ortiz...but this may be the WBC's way of removing Whyte from the Wilder stakes.
