This aint about holding the division hostage, Thurman doesn't care about that, if he did he would have dropped both belts.

He dropped the wbc because he didn't want to have to fight Garcia and Porter, his mandatories.

He dropped that particular belt because he wants to continue to cherry pick.
How dumb does someone sound when they say that a fighter is ducking another fighter that they've already fought. In this case, 2 guys he's already fought and beat.

The ignorance of some people is mind blowing.

What's interesting is that this is the title that he won last from Garcia...he was already the WBA champ...

...so when will that title be vacated?

Garcia-Porter is an interesting match even though I hate watching Porter fight it's a very important fight and puts the winner in position to get whatever fight they want or be forced into a Thurman fight if he's still fighting.

I'll roll with Garcia. He knows how to handle himself inside and if the ref is strong enough he'll have enough moments to win a decision.

Good on Thurman's part to drop the belt and fight for it when you are ready again..

It's only dumb when it's dominant victory.

If Floyd didn't rematch Maidana and Castillo you think he wouldn't have been called out on it?

Thurman's victories over Porter and Garcia were not convincing at all, hence both wanted the rematches so badly.

I mean, this is common sense.

I have never seen a boxer self destruct in such a manner...these guys, these paper champs, their world is starting to get smaller, real colors are exposed
