I'm not a fan. This is my job. Molina lucked into the final eliminator because nobody else was willing to take the fight on short notice and Breazeale was owed a final eliminator from when he had agreed to fight Stiverne. It was a very unique circumstance caused by Ortiz's drug test failure.

I don't care who Whyte fights. Just stating facts. Breazeale signed to fight Stiverne in a final eliminator and then was allowed to face a substitute opponent.

Whyte was offered a final eliminator against the highest ranked available contender and he turned it down. That's on him.

Eddie Hearn kept publicly claiming over and over that Whyte would be the WBC mandatory, even though it wasn't true and Whyte had never fought a final eliminator. In the WBC, being ranked #1 doesn't make you the mandatory most of the time. Winning a final eliminator does. The average fan doesn't know that, so Eddie's lies fooled a lot of people.
