    hahahah!!!!
That would be something if Golovkin refused to give Canelo a rematch. Kudos to him but money usually talks. If he doesn’t give him a rematch you know some here will say he was afraid to face him. I think he should string him along a bit before granting one.

Love watching both Canelo and GGG, but I respect his viewpoint here. It'll be a year since the previous fight at least by the time they'd make it, which would now put GGG at what, 38? Seems he was waited out before with all of the back chatter and no fight (which I believe was De la Hoya's, not Canelo's fault), then the insane judging (which Paulie called going into the fight with that exact judge). The fight (personally had at 7-5 GGG--I know some people differ on this, but I don't have a favorite with either fighter, so I could watch it objectively) ended with my Canelo friends dead silent at the final bell, then began throwing their hats at the tv saying their own guy lost before the scorecards were read. Lot of bs and politics in boxing, but if you don't finish a guy off before 12, you deal with the fallout.

G will not give the rematch without random testing (I hope) starting ASAP, Canelita will refuse testing in fear of getting slaughtered.. we miss a great fight, both teams miss a huge pay day. Thanks a lot Ginger Bitsh.

I'm more interested to see what happens after this fight. DiBella said Derevyanchenko and his team deserve the fight but Golivkin and Loeffler are also victims in all this. 30 days to start the negotiations with Keith Connelly and Derevyanchenko's team should be the next step.
Yeah, this situation could haunt Golovkin for the year. Looking at the worst case scenario for his legacy: Does he do his mandatory? If so, he will almost certainly lose the HUGE, monster payday the rematch with Alvarez will be in September. If not, he could lose a strap that is important to him and a Billy Joe Saunders unification fight (if he gets past Canelo) loses a little luster and he fails at unifying the division.

              Just...ugly.

Of course, a little step aside money and he could avoid most of this, but it could end up a train wreck for a fighter only getting older.

That will satisfy the WBC but what about the WBA and IBF mandatoties. It isn't like the old days where MOST of the time the organizations agreed on who should be ranked number one.

I personally don't even want to see this fight again, it wasn't a landslide from GGG won the first.

GGG should be against a Canelo rematch, don't just give yourself to him because of money. Because it seems canelo thinks GGG is the one that should be begging him for that fight. It should be the other way round especially after that failed drug test.
