He is looking in fine shape this time though and seems to be taking his training seriously, rather than drinking ****tails in hot tubs in Ibiza as he was last time.

If there is 50% of the old Hayemaker left he stops Bellew early. I didn’t recognise the Hayemaker who fought Bellew last year.
Wouldn't be too sure about hayes seriousness. Every TV appearance since this year. I swear he has been off his head on coke blatantly. If you watch him closely he is buzzing eyes all over the place, ott excitable, can't keep his head still talking to commentators lol.

A serious haye would destroy bellew the one that fought maccaroneli would despatch bellew in 2 rounds current haye struggles with him. Daves heart isn't in it anymore from an outside observation.

      Agree with this.

No question at his peak he'd have despatched Bellew with ease. Now? I don't think even he really believes. He's going through the motions.

Yeah he reminds me of Floyd but without the dedication. Haye likes the attention and headlines. He's always loved a camera and the way he used to potray himself was that of someone who pines for acceptance and with his age and injuries he isn't thought of in the same esteem he once was.

If haye had dedicated himself from the start and kept it up and shunned the media spotlight he could of been an absolute monster at cruiserweight his whole career. His explosiveness and ability at one point was unreal

Exactly. He was always going to be too small at HW to really make an impact. His talent got him so far but he was found out against Wlad with the sheer size deficit.

I think he felt he achieved all he could at cruiser and like others have posted, he likes the publicity and the limelight, and that comes easier at HW.
