Dan getting roasted on twitter over this. I could care either way Spike wasn't beating GGG and is just a borderline journey man. But Fat boy Dan is 100% in the wrong here. When 1 side makes you an offer and you agree to all their terms then they come back a few weeks later and cut your offer in half that's not backing out a fight. GGG offered shyt pay changed the offer. Spike doing what GGG is doing taking a easy stay busy fight in May for less money to bank a bigger payday later on. Spike could end up fighting Lemieux, Canelo or Saunders for more money then cheap GGG offered. The regional belt he just won puts him in line soon for a mandatory title shot for the WBO strap. Can't fault Spike who likely only has 1 big pay day in his career to say no man that's not the deal we agreed on and holding out for a bigger check. If you a superstar you shouldn't be offering the same amount of money that Tank just offered Cuellar as the 3rd undercard fight.

Exactly I don't care what your opinion is on this entire fiasco fans are entitled to back one guy or other. But what Fat Boy Dan is just flat out unprofessional. This ain't the first time. The list of fighters he's gone after is well documented. That's why so many fighters and promoters don't respect him and just trash his azzz on twitter. Fat Boy is leaving out the most important fact. When you agree to somebody else's deal and the other side changes the deal drastically and you say no that's not what we agreed to that's not backing out. Even Loeffler himself acknowledges the money situation once they pulled it off PPV they had no money to offer. For comparison for how shyt this money is look at the purses from this weekend Jesus Cuellar who the B side opponent for the 3rd fight on the Broner/Vargas Showtime undercard was paid 350K to move up weight coming off 16 month layoff and a loss. Yet these cheap bastards wanted to pay only 400K for a opponent for GGG on 2 weeks notice no less? FYI reports are Spike was offered more to fight Lemieux (both have stay busy fights coming up if both win they will fight each other or if GGG fight not made in Sept probably fights Canelo). I have no clue if 400K is the most spike has made or not but that is shyt pay and not what they first offered him.

Another example Dominic Wade another Bum GGG fought was paid 500K to show up and get his butt whooped. And GGG was accused of being cheap and fighting bums years ago yet they offer even less and basically the same as 3rd undercard fighters on showtime?

that's a lie he was pushing to get the fight when the pay was almost 1m. His promoter is Golden Boy who OFFERED him up as a substitute for Canelo and they knew the money GGG could offer. His connection with Golden Boy was the only reason he was ever a candidate he was in house fighter who was already in talks to either be on the undercard or fight the night before as a promo for the PPV. GGG offered him the fight he immediately agreed to all their terms. Then they came back to him weeks later cutting his pay in half. If the offer was originally 400K and he agreed then backed out then it's fair game to kill Spike. But that's not what happened and who cares what he gets on May 4 it's a stay busy fight he's looking for a pay day AFTER May 4 just like GGG taking shyt pay his lowest pay in years to fight bum Vanes instead of fight Saunders, Andrade ect and make more money on May 5th. GGG fighting Vanes on cheap money because May 5th is just to stay active and protect a payday AFTER May 5th.
