Sometime in boxing you have to take risks, you can’t just accuse people of ducking you and then get offers the biggest money you have ever made then just stay silent.
You know what, while I agree flat fees are bs in boxing I can't wrap my head around the fact Wilder's manager didn't bother to negotiate at all, we know Hearn was waiting for counter offer and willing to negotiate. This is not even up to debate, Wilder doesn't want this fight, I can't even see how his fanboys gonna defend this duck from Wilder, every human being got some common sense, do they?

Hell if I know. Realistically we haven't really heard from Wilders team lately so something must be in the works and will be announced in the coming weeks.

Those are the sort of risk we fans of the sport should be willing them to take on. You can’t focre people to fight you at the end of the day. When you are making someone an offer 5 times their usual pay then you are excused in boxing terms if they duck that offer.
I agree. I will give AJ a lot of credit if he fight Povetkin first. Compare this GGG ducking his IBF mando and/or Andrade and fighting Vanes because he’s concerned about jeopardizing the Canelo fight

Fighting and beating an undersized midget who can barely even crack and lacks any sufficient physical strength for the heavyweight division is evidence of someone trying to be the best?

Right! So AJ deserves so much more credit for fighting an absolute undersized midget like Povetkin who he has a significant muscle size, functional weight, height, reach, physical strength and punching power advantages over?

Povetkin has been well schooled and is a very good technically. He is used to fighting bigger guys and he can certainly punch. AJ would be the favourite but Povetkin would be a very live underdog.

                    • Anthony and Edward have until Thursday at the earliest to come up with a plan to fight Wilder or it’s curtains for Anthony.
