Mayweather was 2 steps ahead of Pacquiao in 2015. In 2010 he would've been 3 or 4. Mayweather would've always beat Pacquiao because his ring IQ is far superior. Mayweather was faster and had a much quicker reaction time. The only thing Pacquiao had over Mayweather was power and it's easy to nullify power. XMayweather won the fight with one punch in the first round. Once Pacquiao saw how quick Mayweather's counter was he knew he wouldn't be able to do a thing to beat him.

I said this before the fight even.

Especially being Vegas judges, all close rounds they would give it to Floyd. The perception is that if it's a relatively quite round, it went how Floyd hoped it would so they gave the round to Floyd even if he did NOT deserve the round.


Manny won the rounds that even the Vegas judges couldn't take away from him.

So to say, the 2009/2010 version of Manny would be buzzing in every round. Perception would be in Manny's favor. Not like the 2015 injured version that was content to outpoint Floyd.

So yes, Manny would have won if the fight took place in 2009/2010.
