1st Finkel, now he's coming after Dibella? I guess its just the promotional hype man hard at work after programming his trusted robot to avoid any form of that same "hype" with Wilder. Eddie "Play With Our Balls" Hearn is doin' it up real "risk free" against his older counterparts.

I feel Lou is more in tune with boxing fans than Hearn (he brought the highly entertaining Prince Naseem Hamed to HBO). For example, when everyone started cheering when Brook and Khan had their exchange in the ring on Saturday, he said afterwards that both have a lot of fights ahead of them instead of assuring people a fight would happen this year or the next.

Like Hearn said, just you be a good boy like Lou DiBella has been told to be and maybe Hearn will give your favorite promoter Mr. DiBella some good work after his big announcement which will allow your favorite British promoter to take over boxing in the US

Honestly I can kind of agree that Dibella's fashion sense is questionable, but these comments are still kind of concerning. It seems like everything Hearn has been saying is intended to provoke Wilder's team into telling him to get lost. All this refusal to offer a fair deal, the weird obsession with flat fee offers, he-said-she-said bickering about how much money the fight is going to make, baffling comments about playing with balls and repeated insistance that he's only prepared to offer a shortchange deal, and now he's just straight-up resorting to childishly insulting the guys he's meant to be doing a business deal with. This isn't the conduct of a guy who's negotiating in good faith. He wants to be seen to be at the negotiating table but to annoy the other party into cutting off talks so he can throw his hands in the air and say "see, they didn't really want it!" and then go on to arrange a different fight without losing face.

I really hope I'm wrong about this but it looks like a pretty clear picture to me. If Wilder's team manage to endure Hearn's blathering and manage to get him to sign an agreement, they'll have earned my respect. That'd prove that they're more patient than me.
