Tarver vs Jones 2 is probably the toughest I took a loss by a boxer. I honestly was hoping he would retire after Tarver 1. You could see something wasnt right in that fight then he got fckn iced in the second one. Then this mfer fights for 20 more years..

I also have to blame the ref too, he had to be a sick psycho to have not stopped it alot earlier. It was a pointless beat down. That ref should have been fined and banned.
Went back and watched it. Yeah, that was tough to watch. Ali had no business being in there, but yeah. Larry did showboat for sure. Hell, the ref would have let it go on if not for Dundee wanting it stopped. Madness.

I'll never forget the day Maidana beat Broner's azz. Broner made me a real boxing fan. I knew after watching his documentary on HBO i he would be great. That night i had tears in my eye. Seriously.

Funny thing is up to this very day i still believe dude is great and he lets me down every fight by not letting his hands go. I still believe no one below 147 could hang with him if he wasn't so hesitant to throw them hands.
I wasn't a Broner fan and I'm still not although I don't detest him as much as I used to. The guy's a great heel. That said, I can imagine that it ****** a lot to see the Maidana fight. Not laughing. Just saying from that side, it must have been a letdown. But hell who knows what he'll do from here on out? Still only 28 which is crazy.

True but that was a bad match up from the jump. Tito had already lost going into that fight as well and was what 4 years older. That Hopkins fight Tito was undefeated he had beat ODLH, destroyed Reid, Vargas, and Joppy going into the Hopkins fight and if he won that it was on to what would have been huge fight against Roy Jones Jr.I had zero doubt Tito was going to win that fight at MSG ,thought Hopkins had no chance in hell.As a Puerto rican that loss crushed me.

What that ref did was plain evil. Maybe he couldn't stand Ali so wanted him purnished.

That is one of my favorite fight for a good laugh as well as Marquez vs Floyd. Lol.

Now imagine being a Broner fan and watching all that. It must have been devastating.

                      That was a tough one.

What fighter crushed a fighter you admired?
Exactly the same feelings I had about that fight. Duran is one of my top two favorite fighters all time. Tommy as it turned out is the other fighter.
