In the UK Canelo would of received a minimum 2 year ban similar to Tyson Furys case.

Most of these boxers slandering Joshua are failing or avoiding drug tests .. Miller, Parker etc. and the basis for him being on drugs is he is in shape but most of the failures are fat blobs.
I'd never be 100% about any boxer and that includes Wilder being clean but lets start with teh people not doing the tests and failing the tests if we just slander everyone we have no sport.Comment

You sure sound like a GGG fanboy though. Alvarez doesn’t have control over the judges. And Unlike GGG everyone that the fanboys said Cinnamon wouldn’t fight he fought. Can’t say the same for GGG. He had his shot a daring to be great and decided not too when he Ducked ward. He’s 36 yo and has 2 Good names in his resume. The rest are Cans. Only delusional fanboys think he’s this MONSTER HBO has made him out to be. When the truth is he’s not.Comment

see you're just proving my point. I haven't even said anything about ggg that could be considered fan boy talk. The only thing I said about him was that most press, boxers and fans had him beating jacobs and Canelo. That's a fact. Otherwise, I only referenced Canelo and his fan base. But again, Canelo fans are so sensitive that they think anybody who speaks out against him must be a ggg fan. Not true. People don't like Canelo for several reasons and most have nothing to do with ggg and everything to do with the fact that Canelos fan base is annoying, he's entitled with judges scoring and opponent selection, he dropped a belt after saying he wouldn't, played games with weight in just about every fight he's had over the past 4 yrs and now tested positive for a banned substance yet got off very easy. As far as ggg, yeah, he didn't really pursue a fight with ward because he probably knew ward would beat him. He wanted the bigger pay day vs the lower risk with Canelo but stop with all the smaller guy talk. Canelo has had a much bigger fight day weight advantage advantage over all of his opponents other than Chavez jr and that includes ggg. Come to think of it, he probably knew that he could make 155 or any weight easier than all of his other opponents yet bulk up up by fight day because of the clenbuterol effect.Comment

You should believe him because it's true. Whyte drank Jack3D which contains Methylhexanamine which is a banned substance. Lots of athletes have been banned for it as it's a very common ingredient in many pre-workouts. It was banned in 2010 the same year Whyte failed the test for it, so the change of rules may have caught him out.
Whyte may or may not have intentionally cheated fact is Jack3D's whole purpose is to get a better workout which means it's performance enhancing which of course means it's banned like any performance enhancer.
But Hearn's point regarding doping in the US is a legitimate one. For example Bermane Stiverne failed a test for Methylhexanamine too before the fight with Povetkin, he took a sports supplement too, just like Whyte. Difference was when Whyte took it he was banned for 2 years by UKAD while Stiverne was given the all clear by the WBC, fined $75K and forced to do community service.
It's pretty clear the UK is far more stringent and has a more hard line approach to doping than the US.Comment

See that right there. You saying he bulks up due to the Clem effect is what makes you sound like a GGG fanboy. You say it with such certainty that he’s being using In the past. yet have no proof. So facts mean nothing to you? You discard the fact that it’s well documented that if you test the meat of 10 restaurants in Mexico. 3 out of the 10 will have contaminated meat. That It’s also well know to the Mexican government that Most cattle ranchers in Mexico use clembuterol to beef up their cattle and they do nothing about it. Also that he’s not the first or the last athlete that has tested positive or will test positive for clembuterol due to ingesting contaminated meat. When the NFL went to Mexico 6 of the players tested positive for clembuterol because they ate contaminated meat. And they ate at high end restaurants. So I think he deserves the benefit of the doubt. If he test positive again in the future then yeah we can assume he’s cheating. Till then, let’s not assume. Now to the fight night weight vs weigh-in you bring up. Do you think that every other boxer Weighs the same fight night as the Weigh in day. You think Alvarez the only one that blows up 20lbs+? There’s plenty other boxers that blow up a lot on fight night. Jacobs for sure. Ward, Spence, Brook and the list goes on. Now does he get special treatment? Yeah he probably does. He’s also earned it just like Floyd earned it. And no matter what, Haters gonna hate.Last edited by Jab jab boom; 04-23-2018, 03:18 PM.Comment

you could say all the so called facts about clenbuterol and meat that you want but here's the truth. 1. Canelo has known about this because it's been happening in Mexico since 2011. So there's no excuse for the highest paid boxer not to take necessary precautions. 2. Canelo blew up from 155 to 174 when he fought angulo several years ago. That's excessive even by boxing standards and not comprable to what ward or jacobs have gone up. After that day, he never weighed in on fight day again. Who do you think that is? 3. Canelo was tested earlier than he ever had been in recent years this last time because this was the first time he was fighting under the wbc /vada testing regulations in 2 yrs. Before, he'd sign up for it voluntarily which means he knew exactly when testing would start. That makes it easier to cycle off of you're using. He never even took vada for his fight with liam Smith. 4.last point, if Canelo really was clean, why hasn't he announced that he'd be doing year round testing voluntarily the way wilder does. That's the only way to prove he's clean without a doubt. Yet, he says nothing of this and as far as we know, plans to stick to the regular testing schedule of only being tested before fights. That doesn't seem shady to you? If it were me, I'd do whatever is possible to clear my name as the face of boxing. You can call others fan boys but it really takes a true to fan boy to defend canelo because he gives you no real reason to do so. And you acting as if he's earned it the way Floyd has, that's false. Canelo got a lot of short cuts created for him. Way more than Floyd.Comment

Kessler offered him a fight in Denmark, with a venue of at least 3 times that Oracle Arena had to offer.
Because Kessler is actually popular in Denmark, it would be sold out, as opposed to Ward's fights. But Ward knew he couldn't get away with blinding the man if he wasn't fighting in his own backyard, so he ran like a little scared bítch.Comment
