    Marciano is UNDERRATED!!!!!!!!!!!!

    He could not have been beat. He simply wanted to destory whoever was in front of him. He just kept coming at you! He could of had both arms broke and still KTFO of anyone. Did you all even watch the 6 hours on ringside.

    The term Champ= Rocky Marciano

    Lol Tyson fan Tyson wanted to destroy everything in his way and he still lost 5 times so try again nobody is unbeatable.

    While I am fond of the heavyweight division, I don't really consider Marciano to be a true heavyweight given his short stature, which, at 5'11" 185 lb, he would even be considered small for Cruiserweight in this day and age.

    What did Marciano prove?That he could beat 3rd tier fighters who were all 180 pounds and all past their primes?So doing that means he could beat fighters with Lewis size and skill?Give me a break.
    Marciano finished his career beating middleweights and light heavyweights undefeated so that makes him great because of?So beating bums your entire career or fighters pushing 40 makes you a all time great heavyweight?Cute stuff.So i guess Ali should of avoided fighting other greats who were actually heavyweights and in their primes then.Imagine if Lewis,Tyson,Foreman, ect would of fought the same opponents Marciano fought.How many of them would of been undefeated?All of them would of and so would tons of other fighters through out the years.
    She is biased because of what?Because she knows her boxing?Because she isn't some spiteful racist living in 2006 who still can't grasp how pathetic Marciano was and will always be?Never has a fighter been so built up for doing nothing.Marcinao struggled with fighters naturally 25 pounds smaller than him like Charles and Moore but for some reason in you clowns head he would of had a easier time handling let's say even a fighter like Sam Peter's punching power?
    Marciano is a complete joke.I never in my 15 years of watching and reading about boxing seen a bigger joke in boxing.Totally unskilled.Slow as hell hand speed,a poor chin yeah you read it right a poor chin.Moore dropped him with on punch and Moore was a middleweight.Walcott wasn't really a big puncher and he was only 190 pounds at his best.Do you think if he would fought a guy like Tyson his chin would of held up when he couldn't avoid being floored with one punch by the 2 fighters i just named?
    Marciano couldn't **** worth a damn.As this woman said most of his knock outs came because he threw punch after punch after punch against low level fighters who didn't have a chin.Wow big deal.Marciano never knocked out a fighter his own size in their prime who had a decent chin so why would you assume he would knock out a true heavyweight who had a great chin?
    If you think this female is fugly or not proves no point.I bet most of you are ugly.You never get laid and that is why you come to boxing forums and as I said in 2006 still spew your racial biased views for fighters like Marciano.Nobody is saying that ever article writen by this lady is a good one but this one is.It shocked me....she is white yet she has enough common sense to tell it how it is.The bottom line is Rocky Marciano is the most overrated piece of crap in sports history.A career based on fighting past their prime fighters who were usually middle weights to cruiser weights but yet some how beating them makes him the best heavyweight that ever lived.Get a life people and stop living in the past.

              It doesn't make Rocky's accomplishments even more: Marciano usually fought guys that were considered "Top guys" that were around his weight...the guys that were over 200lbs, which were not that many , were not "top" fighters, at least not that I know of. {if you can tell me the fighters that were noted as in their "Prime" and were "Top" guys over 200lbs, please state}

              We can still go on what he did, and that is to beat everybody that was put in his path.

              I still think it is hard to judge him among the "Greats" of the Heavyweight division when you are talking about some of the bigger guys over 200 pounds.

              If he would of beaten a few, maybe even one, legit, big, Prime, Heavyweight over 200lbs, it would be a bit easier, but he wasn't in the right time.

              When talking about "Size", it usually can make the difference, but sometimes a "Great" fighter can come along that isn't the same size and beat the crap out of the bigger fighter; you also have to remember that sometimes size can work against you.

                agree... not to mention it takes balls to step into the ring, especially at a Championship level in front of the World.

                      Dude, Rocky Marciano had freaking nuclear bomnbs in his punches. He also was relentless in the ring. He took down opponenents that had size advantage over him on a consistent basis. He was a lion amongst men. Also had a chin made of iron.

                      I say one of the tougfhest SOB's to ever step in the ring.
