Dude, 90% of all the fights we watch are mismatches. Very rarely do we get a Hurd-Lara type fight. That's why we get so excited for a big fight and that happens like 5 times in 12 months.

hate to sound like mr grumpy but what another **** weekend of fights.

mismatch after mismatch with a heavy favourite and it turned out that way in the ring.

i hate broner as much as the next man but at least he fights guys with some sort of pulse, tank and charlo got their 'bum of the (6) months' club going on and you all get so excited when they knock some scrub out lol, 'wow legit' 'they the real deal'. theyd be the real deal if they fought someone who could fight back.

You know, why are they allowed to fight overmatched opponents every fight but if you propose they fight someone whos a risk its 'oh they aint ready, they cant be rushed' well there overmatched opponents sure as **** arent ready either. they are rocking that haymon mentality good and proper.

And even for khan, what the hell is the point in fighting someone who is that crap. What a waste of money for anyone who bought tickets.

frampton fought someone about 5 years past his sell by date too, just cause they were a name doesnt mean its a good fight. Not being funny but i dont know why people on here were so excited for it, was pretty obvious what was gonna happen.

These mismatches are killing the sport, no wonder the mainstream doesnt give a **** arse about boxing anymore.

Khan always looks incredible forn3 rounds. That guy has natural speed like you rarely see. But he cant rake a punch and he never will. The minute he fights a guy who can punch its night night once again.

You can tell a mismatch by the official odds. Those betting places make a living setting odds and they tell it like it is. You had to bet $5000 on Jermall to win $100. You had to bet $2000 on Khan to win $100. You had to bet $500 on Frampton to win $100. Davis was probably a 20 to 1 favorite but I didn't check those odds. The fights went just like the odds said they would go. The odds on Vargas vs Broner were even and big surprise, the fight was even.

Ggg fought every single highly ranked opponent in his division except Saunders who didn't sign a contract offered to him for one reason or another. What else can someone do to impress people in this sport?

I'd be impressed if the top guy in every division fought all the top 5 or 6 guys in his division. These new guys just got to 160 in the last year and GGG been tied up with Canelo, wasting what's left of his career.
