If you look at Charlos resume you can only chuckle. If he was from Europe or Kazakhstan he would be a total nobody in the eyes of this forum.

I am here because GGG and his team are stinking up boxing when it smelling lavender fresh at Showtime. Derevynchenko should be the current fight not a 154lb fighter on Vanes with two losses? I hope Vanes finds another gear and knocks two GG’s out of him. He is and has only looked good fighting bodies. He can’t convincingly beat one elite fighter. ......You guys should be pushing the guy you believe in to the best fights. I never get to a place where I don’t want to see my favorite fighters fight the best. What is the point in that? This is ridiculous. The best fights should and need to happen. ...... This is not about whether GGG would win its about why his team and fans are trying to stop him from fighting the best competition? Explain that brother, nothing else is worth talking about.
Check my posts. I think this fight is pathetic as a replacement for Alvarez and have posted such. But at the same time there are other facts that posters who just want to be mad ignore. Boxing is not like any other sport. There is not just one body controlling it. There is not just a couple of TV deals to deal with. Golovkin fought a top 5 MW in Danny Jacobs, was negotiating to unify with Saunders right after that war, but was given a "wait or lose it" deal with Alvarez for the largest payday against the most respected foe he could get. In a fight that was controversial he went into another war. He signed for the rematch- again, on Alvarez terms- to get the rematch. So what Golovkin wanted was Jacobs, Saunders, and then Alvarez. Does that sound like a man ducking and ruining the sport? No, of course not. But it is not as fun as hating and ranting.
As for this replacement, HBO Pay Per View was a huge budget and a monster build up. HBO broadcasted the HW bout between Dillian Whyte and Marcus Browne just to kick off the hype train for it. Fathom events was promoting it. When you lose Canelo Alvarez, you lost all that. The fricking replay of Alvarez/Golovkin was the whole hold up of the Lomanchenko/Linares fight. That is how big it was. You go from that to a replacement fighter of any kind and HBO offered pennies on the dollar for a slot on regular HBO, needed a new venue at a ton less gate, and you have a train wreck brought on by Golovkin's own desire to not lose May 5 as he wants to fight.
Again, does that sound like a guy ruining boxing??
Be mad. Enjoy. Have fun. But again I will ask: If Golovkin fights Jacobs, Alvarez twice, his mandatory in Derevynachenko, and a Saunders unification as 5 of his last 6 fights with a crap fight in the middle due to Alvarez pulling out who could argue with that murderers row? This whole rant of your is based off a last minute replacement for Golovkin fighting a fellow pound for pound top 10 who popped positive not being up to your personally acceptance level, not based on what Golovkin has done or wanted to do. It is just ridiculous.

Charlo has done nothing? What did: Adama, Monroe, Rubio, Wade, and too many bums to name do to fight pussie g? I mean Charlo IS the Mando and has fought at 160 so I'm tired of the excuses. Pussie g is a bytch end of story.Last edited by Mindgames; 04-23-2018, 01:56 AM.

there is nothing whatsoever to suggest anything like that will happen
Golovkin has stunk boxing out, with his lame unnecessary fights
I prefer fighters who walk toward danger, not run from it

you said that Vanes was awful..... and then you questioned whether Charlo was deserving..... completely forgetting that he is a lot more deserving that Vanes
neither Munguia, Spike, nor Vanes..... are " deserving "
but..... that is who Golovkin wanted to fight
no point in blaming Charlo for that

Yeah, so theres some bums on hes record. Who aint got them? But he still beat hes main rivals and was down to fight the cheater again until the testers did their job. This pussie was down to fight Pirog in 2012,has beaten Lemieux, Jacobs and lets face it, Canelo, and had no serious rival at middle for years. Charlo, this destroyer, deserves a shot as the mando, but dont make out hes achievements match the hype youre on. A close fight with Trout is the best thing he ever did. He knocked out nothing on Saturday, and a man with one leg the fight before(took him 4).Bundrage, Trout and glass jaw Williams are hes only good wins! What makes him so great but the guy who he himself says is a future HOFer, hes a pussie? Lets hear what you got to say to that, internet rambo.
but none of that is true......
Saunders has been running around with Golovkin's "dream" for years
Derev and Charlo are his mandatories, but GGG just gave them a wide swerve..... those guys would likely be his 3rd/4th best opponents, one of them could be the best opponent he has ever faced..... so, your comments are simply not true
the list of guys who Golovkin could have fought, but chose not to..... contains MUCH better fighters than the guys on Golovkin's resume
