Taylor has very good power but isn't this monster puncher that people make him out to be.

Taylor is definently a strong puncher. Winky is a strong guy too. I never thought that Jermaine could KD Winky. Jermaine needs to work on his footwork and listen more in the corner. From what he said it sounded like his eye really bothered him.

after watching the fight 3 times , winky definately won the fight at least by a few rounds, taylor doesnt hit as hard as everybody thinks, hes real fast but his power isnt anything deadly, wright defense goes unnoticed he uses an open glove defense and still punchs well, i just think its a shame they did this to wright he deserved the win, its not right

Its hard to look like a big power puncher with a guy like Winky standing infront of you. You just cant land flush on him. Taylor did land a few good shots but they were excepted well by winky. Taylor is a strong cat, make no mistake about that.

It's funny to me, though, that none of the people here who whined and cried about the one differing scorecard in Taylor-Hopkins I aren't saying much about the one odd judge who scored the last round for Winky, who didn't do anything to deserve it, making the fight a draw instead of a MD win for Taylor.

I had Taylor winning, but I didn't think it was an entirely convincing win. I based my scoring mostly on the fact that Taylor was landing cleaner, harder punches that moved Wright, whereas Wright was grazing Taylor with a featherduster throughout the fight. Most of Wright's punching came when Taylor was on the ropes, and most of those were caught on the gloves.

A draw is ok by me. Overall I was disappointed in Taylor not listening to his corner. If he had done what Manny was telling him to he would have won. I will never understand why he was constantly backing up when Wright was barely tapping him.

Even if the last round by that judge were given to Taylor, it only would have made that card 114-114, thus making the result a majority draw with 2 cards declaring 114-114 and one card 115-113 for Taylor.

Even when Taylor wasnt landing, he was literally moving Winky around the Ring with his powerful combinations.
Wright didnt deserve the win.

i think sometimes yall forget this is boxing and not UFC or a playstation game.
