Damn I miss the good ole days when fight fans actually wanted to see the best fight the best. Now days, these so called fight fans care more about how much money their favorite fighter is making than actually seeing him fight good opponents.

Of all the cringe worthy things that have come from the AJ camp regarding a Wilder showdown. Him readily admitting at he “overpaid opponents”, at least in his mind on multiple occasions. But the overpaying stops at the one guy people most people wanna see AJ fight most is flat out sickening. And you people that are applauding and co-signing this bull**** are f.ucking pathetic.

I’ll be in London for about a week come Oct to see my TN Titans play the Chargers at Wembley Stadium. And I’m extremely nervous about my ability to not slap the taste outta some Brit’s mouth if the level of bull**** and p.ussy is even close to how it’s represented by the Brits on this forum. Wilder brings nothing but a belt. What else did Charles Martin bring? What else did Joseph Parker bring?

Charlse Martin's didn't demand for a 50/50 or no fight, he knew his position and he was treated accordingly.
Parker came with a belt and the whole of new Zealanders to the table.
Wilder will bring relatively little or nothing with no ppv record in a country of about 350mil people.

I was using the term average to make a point Wilder is on the high end also because he is probably the third best paid heavy currently, that really is not average is it. Universally recognized number 2, not average. Best heavyweight from a bigger more meaningful market, also not average. Wilder has a lot of room to grow though whereas Joshua is pegged out without Wilder, so while Joshua is doing better Wilder will improve more going forward than Joshua will until they fight.


Wilder is a much bigger scalp than Miller it ain't even close, Wilder has more fights on TV than Miller has fights and Wilder gets on ESPN more than any other US fighter.

Miller can open the market a bit I guess and would be a decent first fight on US soil but he is anonymous where as a guy like Wilder will pave the way to really big things.

It's 5 times Wilders biggest purse. Wilder has been the one insulting Joshua over social media, whilst Wilders handlers have been insulting Hearn. Hearn had already offered a flat fee plus US TV rights for Wilder to fight Whyte. Where was the outrage there? Because it wasn't PPV?

Whatever you think of the 12.5m flat fee offer. It IS an offer and it's meant to get the ball rolling, yet Team Wilder didn't even respond to it. Why not? Because they're insulted? They should man up and offer an alternative.

Hearn and AJ are in a position of power so they have every right to structure an offer however they want.

It absolutely is. Since when do fighters take a flat fee for a fight of this caliber? They don’t even do it for fights of a lesser caliber. And sure it was an offer, but it sure wasn’t meant to get the ball rolling.

You have no clue what you are talking about if you believe Jarrell Miller that has been on Shobox like 4 times and Wilder who has been on network TV in decently rated fights, Showtimes biggest numbers are equals.

Now Wilder also gets on ESPN doing interviews, if Miller showed up to ESPN he would get escorted away.

Pretty much anyone that knows anything about boxing in the US knows Wilder, only hard core fans know who Miller is and even then most would only be able to pick him out of a line-up because of his girth


If you think those guys are equal you have no clue what you are talking about. As for PPV Wilder is probably pretty close to being a small time PPV player with a solid opponent (200k or so buys) if they wanted to go that route but that would kind of stunt Wilder growing his name to be more than that. With Joshua he is certainly on PPV.

There is no one better for Joshua to face to make a splash in the US, and if Wilder is such an easy mark knock him out and take the prize.
