did he sell 50k nope there are plenty of sports in america besides soccer and boxing
Oh Wilder sells SOME tickets, but he never sells out. He's a 2 bit nobody with a title. Nothing more.

Do you think Boxing is the second biggest sport in the UK? Haha. Good show of ignorance there.

Which fighter in history that didn't sell many tickets made 12.5 Mill or more for a fight? How many times must I ask this question?

A two-bit nobody? You guys are really going out of your way to downplay him. I wonder why.

Wilder is a good fighter no doubt, but you can't deny that he's fought bums for nearly all his career and doesn't sell many tickets. That's a 2 bit nobody in the great scheme of things. Especially when you compare him to Joshua.

Many tickets is relative. He is the most popular boxer in the U.S. today. It’s reflected in overall viewership, tickets and otherwise. No one is saying he’s in Joshua’s realm, just like no person should say he’s a “two-bit nobody.” It’s classless and false. When Joshua and Wilder do clash, neither will receive a flat fee. It’ll be a percentage split, just like what is done in nearly every fight you watch, including Joshua’s.

So why haven't Team Wilder counter offered with a percentage in mind? They said on Wednesday 11th April that they will counter offer within 48 hours.

So that was 10 days ago.

I hope someone asks them that question. I can only speculate. But aren’t you putting the cart before the horse? What you should be asking yourself is, why did they make Wilder a flat-fee offer which, given how they have treated other opponents and the fact that this could be the biggest fight in boxing, is downright insulting?

Wilder is not the only fighter that can help AJ open new market in America.
Undefeated miller can do absolutely the same as wilder. AJ has options to open market.

I was using the term average to make a point Wilder is on the high end also because he is probably the third best paid heavy currently, that really is not average is it. Universally recognized number 2, not average. Best heavyweight from a bigger more meaningful market, also not average. Wilder has a lot of room to grow though whereas Joshua is pegged out without Wilder, so while Joshua is doing better Wilder will improve more going forward than Joshua will until they fight.

Wilder is a much bigger scalp than Miller it ain't even close, Wilder has more fights on TV than Miller has fights and Wilder gets on ESPN more than any other US fighter.

Miller can open the market a bit I guess and would be a decent first fight on US soil but he is anonymous where as a guy like Wilder will pave the way to really big things.

A comment like this makes you look silly c'mon man

outside of soccer and probably idk cricket I guess what else does england have? Cuz they dont have NBA, NHL, MLB like the states do and I can go on WWE, NASCAR need I say more.... all those at times get higher ratings than boxing sometimes.
                  its a fact

boxing in america is under baseball ffs in ratings even wrestling sometimes gets higher ratings here.....

and again ya compare ticket sales from a country to state wide stuff....

                  for example:

England is a small ass country... of course they are gonna have nationalistic pride and back their countrymen...

its a bit different in america.....

if I remember correctly england is like the size of oregon or close to it

Do ya remember when bud crawford fought in omaha? **** was sold out.... but he goes somewhere else doesnt sell out? Gee I wonder why?

they just refuse to understand that their small country, england, is gonna be behind their fighter due to nationalistic pride.... they even line up the streets for the old hag ffs

Fact is your boy sells **** all....not every one of the Ortiz tickets was bought.. some were comped. Same for his fights before that like stiverne 2. You can say wilder brings whatever percentage you want.. the numbers keep saying that he brings a percentage of diddly ****-all...
so just name me big fights, unification fights where one guy got a flat fee (*not floyd cuz AJ is nowhere near that level)?

but no one can give me a straight answer, just bs excuses and use floyd's name
