"Eddie Hearn, who promotes IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (21-0, 20 KOs), has no intention of paying more than $12.5 million to WBC champion Deontay Wilder (40-0, 39 KOs)."

    Sounds like a duck.

If Wilder doesn't take it its a duck. Why fight Breazeale for $2m when he could fight Joshua first, get $40m for 2 fights and then fight Breazeale for $5m+ after? The only reason Wilder doesn't take the fight now is because he doesn't believe he can win and wants to sell his belt. If all he said was true and AJ knows he's going to lose then let AJ sell his belts.

Take the fight and get the belts then you can offer the same BS money for the rematch assuming that there is not a rematch clause in the first contract. They are scared of Wilder. It is obvious.

Hahah Hearn and Joshua gonna teach this boy his role! The easy way, or the hard way, he gonna KNOW HIS ROLE!

LOL watch him get sparked out by some bum he's gonna fight in the meantime and lose his shot at Joshua.

THE ONLY reason he can even get the fight is because his belt. Lol.. And Joshua actually wanting to be a good champion and completely unify.

Good thing Joshua doesn't have Wilder's cannery mentality.

He can't sell 10,000 tickets when he fights in a great fight in America. And we have a guy who is making all of this money, and can continue doing so, in risk free fights. Now you're asking our guy to be in the biggest fight of his career for a little more.

"People don't understand the simple economics and the reality of the situation. One guy is earning $2.5 million dollars and the other is earning ten times as much. Joshua has overpaid his opponents. He overpaid Charles Martin, he overpaid Dillian Whyte, he overpaid Breazeale, he overpaid Takam, he overpaid Parker. We ain't doing it again. We're not going to overpay Deontay Wilder for this fight.

Well said. Wilder, his team and his fans are really ****ing dumb.
Dude, you usually on point but with this one I can't help you.

How can you pay EVERYONE ELSE BUT NOT D.Wilder? Listen to how that sounds....1. pay him, 2. pay him, 3. pay him, 4. pay him, 5. pay him, WAIT! Don't pay him (D.Wilder)! Must be cuz they have a FEAR of losing.

Also, it's just funny to see Wilder get put in his place like the low-IQ scrub he is. He thinks he's actually a baller! Adorable! Ah hahahah
I think the problem some have is fans seem to be more interested in assigning the duck label to one particular fighter than they are in "discussing" the business side.

Does it bother you that a "low-IQ scrub" has made millions and stands to make millions in his next couple of fights? Methinks so.

i remember hearing about him signing Breazele fight. Has that been confirmed?

Wouldn't surprise me - Joshua leftovers. Wilder is all about cannery - which is why his recorded is padded with them.

Wilder knows the Joshua fight is his CASHout. Cash out before he dashes out!!

The ones that are scared of losing is hearn & Aj, period. D.Wilder & everyone knows this fight is worth more for both fighters....The longer this stalling goes the more you will have to pay D.Wilder.
