Who will be the first to beat Golovkin?

Unless he retires inside the next year or 2 he will eventually lose, i think everyone generally agrees he's lost a step & is getting on in age.

Out of anybody right now, Saunders I think is the most likely, Jacobs a close second. I think that Canelo clearly lost in the first fight but it's definitely not inconceivable that he can adapt and win in the rematch.

I do think that father time is going to be the biggest contributor to his eventual defeat, if and when it happens. Of course, he might do the sensible thing and retire before then.

I really dont see Saunders winning that fight. GGG is too strong and break him down. The Lemmy win somewhat put Saunders in a smoke and mirrors situation.

Yeah i think i'd agree with that, i don't think it will be a backfoot boxer like BJS or Andrade. I think if Charlo comes with a great gameplan ( box for the first 7-8 rounds and then try to put Golovkin on the back foot) The Technician has a perfect style to beat him but he's too small imo.

GGG beats Charlo IMO also. Charlo repeatedly keeps on walking into overhand punches and GGG has a great overhand. Charlo's power also didn't seem strong in MW. Andrade IMO has the best chances of winning because he has power and boxing ability, bigger also.

Yeah i wanna see if Charlo can beat Jacobs before he takes on Golovkin.

            in an ideal world:

            Charlo V Jacobs
            Andrade V Saunders

            Derevyanchenko V Murata
            GGG V Canelo 2

winners fight - WBSS is announcing their weight classes in a few weeks....if they do MW ill cream my pants.

His fight vs Jacobs is more debateable than the Canelo fight yet he has expressed zero interest in a rematch. I'd rather see that one. Andrade would be a tough puzzle for him. Not saying he'll lose but its intriguing. Saunders became elite overnight after beating Lemule, a guy people said wasn't even that good when GGG devoured him. So I'm not putting too much stock into BJS. Now if he did that to Jacobs I'll be impressed but he ducked that fight.

                1. Jacobs II
                2. Andrade
                3. Canelo II
                4. Charlo
                5. BJS
                6. Derev

In this order. These are the fights GGG can potentially lose. But at this stage it's not even fair to expect him to face all these guys. I just hope the Jacobs rematch takes place at least.

Believe it or not, I think Andrade has the best shot out of the guys on the list.

I think he gets a UD in a Canelp rematch and KOs everyone else on that list. Saunders looked against GGG's leftovers and he's about to fight another one.

And I'm not sold on Charlo at MW yet.

Jacobs might beat GGG if they have a rematch, he's not on the poll though.
